Outfit Of The Day: Five Seconds

Can you tell I got dressed in all of five seconds?? We were taking my sister back to Uni on Sunday, which meant waking up earlier than usual ( I stayed in bed as long as I could), and spending most of the day in the car so I wanted to be super comfortable (yes my pillow also came with me in the car). I threw on my go to H&M aviator jacket and a grayish infinity knit scarf to keep warm.

Soixante Neuf Vs Aldo 3 Stone Ring

When I went to drop my sister back at Uni yesterday after our weekend together we stopped and had a bite of lunch before heading back home! I wanted to try on a pair of shoes in Aldo as I don't have a store anywhere near me and there's one in the mall right by her university! They unfortunately they didn't have the shoes in stock I wanted to try, but this ring caught my eye. I love Soixante Neuf rings and the gold hammered ring is one of my favourite pieces. Even better I love find a look for less. This ring reminded me of the 3 Stone ring I'd seen at Planet Blue and for only £9 I decided it was a great look for less! It's not identical but it has the 3 green turquoise stones and a silver detailing on the edge. Even better when I went to pay the guy at the counter gave me 10% discount for being so smiley. I can't find this ring online but it's new in stores so you should be able to find one! I left happier than if I'd found the shoes :)

Outfit Of The Day: How Do You Know?

After I finished my very last shift at work on Saturday, my sister and I headed to the city to do a quick bit of shopping and grab coffee before heading to the Cinema and meeting my parents for a meal after to celebrate my new job! I'm a big Reese Witherspoon fan so we went to see 'How Do You Know?'. It was your typical cute girly rom-com! We then headed over to Frankie & Benny's for some delicious grub, I was starving by the time we got there! I finally got around to wearing my LC jacket I posted about here, I <3 this jacket especially the price I paid for it too, I've been wearing a lot of pieces from her line recently!

Outfit Of The Day & Night: Fiddler On The Roof

Yesterday I spent most of the morning running errands and then I just ended up hanging out at Susie's for the rest of the day before we headed out in the evening!

This is my outfit I threw on in about 30 seconds because I slept in and realised I had an appointment to be at!

Primark Cardigan, New Look Tank
In the evening me and some of my friends went to watch a production of Fiddler on the Roof that one of our closest friends was playing the role of Chava in. She was awesome and we gave her a huge cheer at the end! I love going to see productions that my friends are in!

I couldn't get a good picture in the bad light, I tried my best but I'm just no good at this picture taking! I think I'm in need of a new camera I want to try something a bit more advanced than my point and shoot, does anyone have any recommendations for a beginner?

Stacey's Smiles :)

Is it just me or has January flown by? I can't believe it's almost the end of the month, but I gotta say 2011 is proving to be a good year so far, I hope it's going to carry on this way!

Firstly I'm smiling because it's finally pay after what seems the longest 6 weeks ever! It's nice being paid early at the time, but not when you get to the fourth week and realise that you've gotta stretch your money another 2 weeks! But even better job related, you may have seen earlier in the week I've got a new job!!! I've been jumping up and down all week! I've never known what I wanted to do but hopefully this is gonna be a better fit for me than working in retail! I'm going to be working and training pharmacy which goes perfectly with my science and maths background that I studied for my A-levels, although that seems such a long time ago now! I've only been working part time for the past few months and it's been driving my crazy so going back to full time it another bonus, although I might be posting less Outfits Of The Day, but I will make up for it whenever I have time off work!

My sister is also home this weekend! She had to come back for an injection today and decided to stay the weekend! We're going out for a meal and to the cinema to celebrate my new job tomorrow and then were making a road trip on Sunday to take her back to Uni!

Remember these studs I posted last week that I ordered for a craft project? Well they arrived today, so I shall be doing some studding very soon!

This week I also started planning a trip to Rome with my friend Anna, we will hopefully be going in May! Neither of us have been to Rome before but Anna has been to other parts Italy many times before! Does anyone have any good recommendations for things to do, places to see and eat???

I can't wait to throw my coin in the Trevi fountain and make a wish! Talking of Rome It also reminded me of the Sabrina film they made 'Sabrina Goes To Rome'! I may have to watch that before I go, Sabrina the Teenage Witch was my favourite TV programme when I was younger.

Does anyone own this trench coat from Lauren's spring line at Kohl's! I think this is a piece I need in my life, it rains here, a lot, I think a coat is always a justified purchase right??? Especially when it has an amazing bow detail on the back!

What has everyone else got planned for this weekend?????

Outfit Of The Day: Grey Skies

Such a boring outfit today, I feel like the nasty grey overcast sky outside! I've just been at home doing some more spring cleaning in my closet, organizing photos and looking online for hotels and apartments in Rome so I just wanted to feel like I was wrapped in my blanket all day and I think I succeeded.

Blushing In Paris

I'm not a huge make up person at all, but I do always have one of these little round blush pots by Bourjois in my make up bag, so I fell in love when I picked up the latest Boots magazine earlier this week(although I think it's been out a while) and saw the limited edition packaging they've made for this spring! Bourjois has teamed up with young Parisian artist Juliette Buré to create the range featuring the Parisian monuments of the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bastille, the Opéra Garnier and the Sacré Coeur. I think I want to get the whole set just to have them on display.

You can purchase them Online at ASOS here and Boots here and they should be in stores from March.

Outfit Of The Day: Shining Bright

I think the bright colors of my outfit reflected my mood perfectly yesterday! I also started planning a trip to Rome in May with my friend Anna, just another reason to be smiling this week :)

Bunnies, Butter Icing and Beautiful Buns

Another Sunday and another decorating lesson from my mum! She decided she'd teach us some piping techniques this week so Susie made the buns the night before and my mum decided we'd practise Easter ideas as we want to throw an Easter party this year! We made some lovely bright colored butter icing for the top of the cakes and cut out little lambs, bunnies and ducks and piped them with some icing too, I loved making the lambs fluffy! Susie's boyfriend even came over for a bit and had a go at some piping, he actually was better at piping the tiny little whiskers on the bunnies than we were! And you know we had to have some fun with the leftover icing too!

Outfit Of The Day: Pancake Breakfast

Just an outfit I threw on quickly when I woke up this morning so I could go and grab some breakfast with my mum, I had some very yummy pancakes with syrup! This jacket has had so many outings this winter and the LC top is one of my favourite pieces I've bought from her Kohl's line!
Susie is coming round later and we are gonna be doing some more decorating so check back to see what sort of mess we made this week!

Stacey's Smiles :)

I can't believe another week has gone by again, January is flying by, just one week left! So here are the things keeping me smiling this week!

I'm a huge CSI fan, I watch all three versions of it and the new seasons of CSI and CSI:NY have just started here, the only thing I miss is Grissom, it's not the same without him! Glee season 2 also just started and it was the Britney episode this week! I have loved Britney Spears forever and the episode didn't disappoint! And not forget Grey's Anatomy has just started back as well! So many good series all starting at once!

I've ordered a few things this week for some craft projects I've got in mind!

I also ordered these boots from Urban Outfitters after seeing Amber post them many times over on her blog and Anna Kendrick looking super cute in them(although I think Amber rocks them better)! Plus they went on sale for $29.99 and get an extra 10% with 'take10' making them just $26.99

Deena & Ozzy Tread Boots
These yummy little Malteaster bunnies are back in store and they're one my favourites! YUM

And this year Aero have made bubbly lambs so i picked up one of these to try

And finally I went for a job interview today so I have my fingers and toes crossed that i get it!

My Everyday Jewelry Box

I thought I'd share with you the pieces of jewelry I reach for every morning! I have a lot of jewelry pieces I mix with all of these, it's always fun creating new looks by just using different pieces of jewelry!

There are two things I never leave the house without! They are this ring I got in Amsterdam from Gassan Diamonds when i went with my mum in 2009 and my One of a Kind silver hamsa bracelet.

Then I normally have on one of these two necklaces! They are the Jennifer Zeuner mini horizontal cross necklace in silver and the Me&Ro Fearlessness slate necklace in gold. I also added the little gold feather charm from the Make a Wish Dogeared necklace I was gifted a few years ago! I wore that necklace everyday until it wore off and then purchased the Me&Ro one a few months later but still wanted to keep the little feather with me!

And 9 out of 10 times I'm wearing a watch and it's one of these two! The silver DKNY was a birthday gift quite a few years ago now (I think back when I was in high school) and it was my go to watch until for Christmas this year I purchased the Michael Kors one from Christmas money from my Grandad!

And then I mix and match all my other jewelry around them! I especially love rings and I'm normally wearing a couple more, at the moment at least one of them is from this four

I'm always looking for new ways to store/display my jewelry and a couple of years a go I got this metal heart which I'm hanging some of my costume necklaces from, mixed in with some postcards! I might do a post soon on some of my jewelry storage! If you have ideas please share them, I'd love to hear them!
