It's a weekend I look forward to every year and visiting Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park has become somewhat of a tradition since my sister started University! It's her last year so I'm hoping this won't be the last Christmas we go, I'll just have to pay for a hotel instead of having her floor to sleep on next year! The rain made for a miserable start to the day but some mulled wine helped fix that, along with a trip to the Magical Ice Kingdom! We also had some time to look at the Christmas lights and Selfridges windows on Oxford Street before meeting up with some of friends for dinner that night!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Eve and Santa is good to you all tonight!!
Happy Sunday! I hope everyone is all ready for Christmas now! I have two gifts left to deliver, which I am doing later today and then I am all done! I have to work Christmas Eve, which means I have to be organised because I don't have time to run around last minute!
Christmas Cupcakes from Lola's!
Goodies that cheered up a rainy Saturday morning -
Happy Friday Everyone!! Well it looks like we survived the world ending today! Sorry I've been missing all week, work has been crazy and insane and I am exhausted! I went to work early to day and stayed late and I'm going in on my Saturday off! I am so ready for it to be Christmas Day so I can have a lay in!
I'll be spending Christmas at home with my family like always, but of course I still want to dress up! I'm planning to wear something similar to this (although the Louboutins are only in my dreams)! I plan to keep it causal with an added bit of sparkle!
I loved this silver spot sweatshirt when I saw it on Pinterest and luckily I managed to snag it from ASOS when they were having 25% off for students (Thank You sister). It's perfect for adding a bit of glitz to a relaxed weekend outfit!
Happy Friday Everyone! I can't believe my week off is nearly over and it'll be time to head back to work soon! It's been so nice not having to wake up early and just being able to do want I want! Today I'm heading to meet my sister at Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park (last year's visit) I hope it's not like last years visit where I was ill! Then I'll be heading back home to spend Sunday being very lazy before I go back to the Christmas craziness at work!
To say I'm obsessed with my manicure this week would be an understatement! I cannot get enough of this OPI varnish from the James Bond Collection. You can never have too much glitter in your life and The Livingdaylights doesn't disappoint! It's not the easiest glitter varnish to apply but it is so worth the extra bit of time! I layered it over an old favourite, Glitzerland for the perfect Holiday glitter manicure! Buy it here at ASOS now!
Last weekend we had the first bit of snow for winter 2012! It wasn't much but it was so lovely to wake up and see everywhere with a sprinkling of the white stuff! It has been absolutely freezing this past couple of weeks so I've been wrapping up in my favourite BB Dakota coat to keep warm!
A week of December has gone by already, crazy right?! I have just a few more gifts to pick up on Sunday and then I am done with Christmas shopping and I can enjoy my evenings relaxing! I'm also taking some time off work next week and I plan to watch a lot of Christmas movies, drink lots of hot chocolate and eat a lot of Christmas cookies!
Decorating with my sister whilst she was home the other weekend!
A little friend for my tree from Japan.
Such cute table numbers at lunch last Sunday!
Posting my Christmas cards!
A little deer my mum gave my last year.
Happy Friday Everyone!!! I hope you all enjoy your weekend!
I'm not much of a beauty junkie yet but my collection has been growing and this year I've been trying out some new brands. I'd love to receive any of these products to try out (I love the idea of this stocking stuff to introduce you to a brand) and Miss Dior is a long tern favourite of mine already!
Harrods never fails to please with it's window displays, especially at Christmas and this year was no exception! When I read that the theme was going to be Disney Princesses, I knew I had to plan a trip with my sister! I don't even know what to say about the stunning dresses, from Snow White in Oscar De La Renta to Cinderella in Versace. The shoes were just as amazing with the Christian Louboutin Cinderella Shoe on display and Belle's gorgeous Valentino studded beauties! Hand's down my favourite window was Sleeping Beauty in a breath taking Elie Saab gown, the detailing was insane! If I win the lottery I want THAT dress!!! And all the little windows in between were filled with jewelled goodies to cute little friends too.
