June Faves

So I know I warned you that my June favourites would be up a bit later, but I had wanted to get them up earlier than this! At least I've managed to share them with you before August arrived and I'm already working on my July Faves and they'll be up soon!
So let's jump into my June Faves.....

I purchased this bag on a bit of a whim because I had seen similar styles everywhere and really liked the look, but I wasn't sure how practical it would be. I managed to get this with a discount code and while I don't think this bag will last forever it is holding up better than I imagined and I can fit a lot more inside than I first thought! I used this bag throughout our trip to Paris and it was the perfect size for all my essentials!

Home Grown Peonies

This one is a no brainer! Peonies are one of my all time favourite things and you all know I think home grown ones smell the most amazing! Our peony plants had a few blooms on them this year but I loved seeing them in the garden and couldn't bear to cut them. These beauties were from my peonies in my parent's garden and this year they bloomed better than ever!

I love rocking mouse ears when I'm at Disneyland and have a classic pair of Minnie ears I got a long time ago now! But when I saw this pair in the parks this year I had to upgrade! These gold polka sequin pair are my dream pair of Minnie Mouse ears, they couldn't be more me! They're a limited edition pair to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris so if you want a pair you'll have to make a trip to the parks or I have seen some on eBay

Zara Stripe Dress {identical}

This dress doesn't need much explaining, you've already seen it in a couple of blog post and countless Insta posts too! It came to Paris with me and you'll probably see it on the blog again soon!

Disneyland Paris Micky Head Ring

Another favourite from Disneyland was the cute little double Mickey head ring! My sister got a similar one and my Mum got a necklace. They were all little treats to remember our Nanny as she paid for our trip. I won't wear it often now I'm home but it will be a sweet reminder of our family trip when I do reach for it.

Paris

Our family trip to Paris was definably the biggest highlight of June. It was Sean's first time visiting the city and we'd love to go back again! I have a bunch of posts lined up about our trip, which I might share by this time next year if I get organised haha! {I still have posts on Athens & Venice to write first}.

Zara Pink Backpack

Now this is a bag from Zara a couple of years ago but I picked this up recently for just £8 on eBay and it looks brand new!  I had been wanting a backpack for our trip to carry my camera around in and this one was in my favourite colour, an absolute steal and was perfect for a day in the Disneyland Parks! It'll definitely come in useful for future adventures too!

Floating Pineapple Whip

Sorry another favourite from Disneyland Paris that you'll have to go to the parks if you want to try! I had never seen these on our previous trips so they must have appeared in the last few years! The weather was amazing during our visit, which that meant we needed lots of drink and ice cream breaks! I had one of these the day we arrived and quickly became obsessed with them. The pineapple juice was so refreshing in the heat. Apparently in Disney World they have all sorts of favours of these, maybe I'll have to plan a trip!!

My July Favourites will be up in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned to find out what else I have been loving this Summer!

First Peonies of 2018

Happy Wednesday. I just thought I would brighten up today for you all with some snaps of these beautiful peonies. I mean I can't stop staring at them and they smell divine too! You all understand why I keep staring at them right?!
These are my first peonies of 2018 and they came from my best friend's mum's garden, she has the best peony plant! I look forward to having some of these in my home every year because I haven't found any that smell as good as these.
When we moved into our house last summer we planted six of our own peony plants and 5 of them currently have tiny little buds on them, I have everything crossed that at least one will bloom.

Stacey's Smiles

First bunch of peonies of the season.

My room has constantly been filled with blooms recently.

Perfectly Pink Peonies.

I ran my first 5K at the weekend in the most beautiful setting.

Blooms for the new garden.

It has felt so good to be back blogging this week and I have some more posts lined up that will be going live over the next few weeks. Hopefully once I am all moved into my new place I'll be able to get back to blogging more regularly again, well I'll be aiming for at least posting one week in every month to start with!
Also if you're wondering why I seem to have splatters of paint on me in my picture from the 5K it's because it was a colour run and we had a different colour paint thrown at us at each KM marker, It was actually really fun and as much as I still don't like running for now I would do it again.

Stacey's Smiles

My first peonies of the year thanks to my best friend's garden!

One of my favourite blog photo spots.

My new phone case from SS Print Shop.

Sunday Morning Blossoms.

Pretty Notebooks to keep me organised.

Today is my last day at my current job, and I am so sad to be leaving it behind, but Monday starts a new chapter and luckily I only have to move to an office one floor down! The blog has been so quiet recently because I bought my very first house!! It's taken up a lot of my time and energy but I can't wait until it is all decorated and I can move in and share more with you all. There are so many new beginnings happening this year. In another news one of my peony plants has over 30 buds on it and I cannot wait for it to bloom next month!
Happy Weekend.

Room Refresh

Bike Print - Anna With Love Shop // Je t'aime Print - SS Print Shop

I always like to start re-organising things around my room every time a new year or season rolls around and adding in some new little details, but without spending too much money.
One of my favourite things is having fresh flowers beside my bed, luckily a sweet friend of mine dropped round last week with some blooms in hand! Tulips always make me think Spring is on the way.

Candles are another thing I love to have around and a new scent is always a little treat. My sister gifted me this Jo Malone one for Christmas. Their candles smell amazing but if you are on more of a budget I love picking up some candles from T.K Maxx.

Jo Malone has also become my favourite place to pick up cologne and I have a little growing collection (I normally like to pick one up at the airport and save a few dollars) and I decided to make a little display of them in my room so I feel like I'm 'shopping' my perfumes every day!
I displayed them on a little marble tray I picked up from H&M Home, and as my friend's know me so well, one of them got me the cutest personalised marble coaster for Christmas!

I have a growing collection of prints too and I love changing up my shelf above my bed and also my gallery wall. My favourite places to pick up prints are the Anna with Love Shop, SS Print Shop and Etsy, especially H Nichols Illustration

Laduree X Kerrie Hess Collection

I have the sweetest tooth and I find it had to pass a macaron by, there's just something about them that makes them so aesthetically pleasing and irresistible (which is why I had to photograph these hehe). I always love to stop by Laduree when I'm in London and gaze at the window displays and sweet treats.
They still had some of these adorable Kerrie Hess boxes left, so I decided to treat myself to some macarons! I love Kerrie's illustrations and I love keeping Laduree macaron boxes to store everything from twine and ribbons to my jewels in them, so this seemed like a perfect way to add one of Kerrie's beautiful designs into my home!
I received these mini cake domes as a birthday gift, you may have spotted them in my Flamingo Party Post, but they couldn't be more perfect for holding a macaron in if they tried! The 'Eat Me' tags are the perfect finishing touch, but you don't have to tell me to eat a macaron, these ones didn't last long at all!

Stacey's Smiles

Breakfast in Bed on my Birthday.

A sweet delivery of flowers in the post from a dear friend!

A sweet treat from Laduree.

Getting Windswept in Southwold.

New Summer PJ's making me crave an ice cream.

My new blogging goal is to try and blog every other week, and so far I have been sticking to it. There might not be any new posts up next week but I have more in the pipe line for the week after including my second birthday dress (see a sneak peek here and it's on sale). This weekend I am off to London again for a Hen Weekend, I'm actually looking forward to having a weekend soon where I can just sleep in and relax, but I know that this weekend is going to be packed full of celebrations and fun! Happy Weekend!

Pink & Check

Forever 21 Top // Kate Spade Skirt (similar) // Dorothy Perkins Sandals //

It was my birthday at the end of June and a few days before my Sister surprised me with a flamingo themed lunch party! At the time I didn't know what she had planned for that day so I let her pick something out of my wardrobe that would be suitable for her surprise, and she went for this checked midi skirt from Kate Spade and this scalloped collar shirt. I added some of my favourite jewels from Elizabeth Stone Jewelry and I'd had a manicure that morning that finished off my look perfectly! Tomorrow I'll be sharing some pictures of the Flamingo Lunch Party.
