Dorothy Perkins Dress {old} // Gap Bag

The weather has finally started to warm up here, which is why I didn't get any posts up last week, I didn't want to spend my time staring at a computer screen after work when I could be outside in the sunshine!

I have got two more post coming up this week for you though that I had planned for last week and I also thought I'd share a round up of some recent outfits I have worn. I've been wearing a lot of dresses  this month and I've paired most of them with this hat and this bag from my April Faves post. They are both great basic pieces that will pair with just about anything in a summer wardrobe!

A New Spring Dress

It's hard to believe I was wearing a floral Spring dress on Good Friday and yesterday morning it was snowing! Luckily it didn't lay but I think I was a bit too eager in getting my sandals back out, they might have to wait a few more weeks before they'll be worn again now. This floral dress is only $14 and is super easy to just throw on with a cardigan and go! I've linked some more affordable dress below that will see you all the way through the summer if the weather warms up for us!

Rooftop Views

Victoria Emerson Bracelet (save 25% with code 'fiveminutestyle25'

Happy Monday everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of weeks, I have had A LOT of things going on, all exciting but taking up so much of my time.
Last weekend I escaped the craziness though to take a trip to Athens with my best friend and our boys. It was so lovely to see the sun for a few days and enjoy some Greek food. How amazing is the view from the rooftop terrace of the apartment we rented? It was the perfect stop for enjoying a glass of wine whilst the sunset. I'll share some more photos from our trip with you all soon.

Goodbye Summer

Before the first day of Autumn officially arrived last week I wanted to wear this skirt again so I could share it with you all! This was a Zara sale find but I have linked a super similar one! I wore this to a day of my sewing class (I'll share more on that soon) and after a long day of cutting and stitching we headed for dinner in Lavenham. There are just the cutest houses all around the town and I stopped by this one as it matched my skirt! You might remember this post from a couple of years ago? Well that dream pink house is in Lavenham too and you know I had to walk past it again and drool this year too.
Goodbye Summer 2016, you've been a wonderful one but I am ready for my knits and blanket scarves now!

Utility Vest

I've been keeping my weekend style super simple lately, I never know what the weather is going to do one minute it's sweltering hot, the next its pouring with rain! I love wearing olive green in the Fall and since it's not too long until the Autumn arrives I decided to start adding some green layers into my summer wardrobe! This Gap dress is still on sale and has been a staple this summer and as it's a slightly thicker knit it will easily transition into the cooler Fall temperatures.

Pink & Check

Forever 21 Top // Kate Spade Skirt (similar) // Dorothy Perkins Sandals //

It was my birthday at the end of June and a few days before my Sister surprised me with a flamingo themed lunch party! At the time I didn't know what she had planned for that day so I let her pick something out of my wardrobe that would be suitable for her surprise, and she went for this checked midi skirt from Kate Spade and this scalloped collar shirt. I added some of my favourite jewels from Elizabeth Stone Jewelry and I'd had a manicure that morning that finished off my look perfectly! Tomorrow I'll be sharing some pictures of the Flamingo Lunch Party.
