First Peonies of 2018

Happy Wednesday. I just thought I would brighten up today for you all with some snaps of these beautiful peonies. I mean I can't stop staring at them and they smell divine too! You all understand why I keep staring at them right?! 

These are my first peonies of 2018 and they came from my best friend's mum's garden, she has the best peony plant! I look forward to having some of these in my home every year because I haven't found any that smell as good as these.

When we moved into our house last summer we planted six of our own peony plants and 5 of them currently have tiny little buds on them, I have everything crossed that at least one will bloom.

I cannot believe it will be Easter this weekend already, where has the first 3 month of 2018 gone?! 

I always love to reach for a pretty floral dress or pastel colours for my Easter outfit and as I've been on a shopping ban for Lent this year I've planned to wear this ASOS dress I already had in my closet. Although the are saying we might get a white Easter this year, so I might have to rethink my outfit choice!

Today is my last day at my current job, and I am so sad to be leaving it behind, but Monday starts a new chapter and luckily I only have to move to an office one floor down! The blog has been so quiet recently because I bought my very first house!! It's taken up a lot of my time and energy but I can't wait until it is all decorated and I can move in and share more with you all. There are so many new beginnings happening this year. In another news one of my peony plants has over 30 buds on it and I cannot wait for it to bloom next month!

I love having a little pampering session one evening during the week and treating my face to some extra TLC. My skin has been all over the place lately probably due to stress, hormones and the change in seasons. A New Spring Dress

It's hard to believe I was wearing a floral Spring dress on Good Friday and yesterday morning it was snowing! Luckily it didn't lay but I think I was a bit too eager in getting my sandals back out, they might have to wait a few more weeks before they'll be worn again now. This floral dress is only $14 and is super easy to just throw on with a cardigan and go!
