Last year we didn't have too many decorations around the house, but this year we decorated more and I wanted share just a few snaps of our Holiday Decor with you all. We still kept things pretty simple and neutral, but added some pops of colour in, on the Hot Chocolate Bar, which I always love to get set up. I even added a wreath above our bed this year. I always use to decorate my bedroom back at my parents so I wanted to add something festive to our bedroom this year. 

We don't go crazy on decor or spend a lot, most things we already had, or I picked up on sale last year. We did add in a few new pieces I picked up in Homesense and Ikea, and we'll use those next year too. 

All of the decorations on our tree are either collected from our travels, locally sourced or from other family members trees, they all have a special memory or meaning attached to them and decorating the tree is my favourite part as I get to remember where we picked up each ornament as we hang it.

Happy Friday Again! I am so pleased that I have managed to blog for two weeks in a row haha, let's see if I can make it three. 

I am about to head into a week of 'lasts' as I prepare to move next weekend. I am a mixed bag of emotions right now, but I cannot wait to start this new adventure!

Today is my last day at my current job, and I am so sad to be leaving it behind, but Monday starts a new chapter and luckily I only have to move to an office one floor down! The blog has been so quiet recently because I bought my very first house!! It's taken up a lot of my time and energy but I can't wait until it is all decorated and I can move in and share more with you all. There are so many new beginnings happening this year. In another news one of my peony plants has over 30 buds on it and I cannot wait for it to bloom next month!

Happy Friday!! Only a week to go until the Easter Weekend starts and I am on a countdown! My best friend is also moving back to the area tomorrow which is the best thing that is happening this month. 

Next week on the blog i'll be sharing a fun grown up Easter Party table set up and a Spring outfit featuring this bright yellow midi skirt.

I told you you'd be seeing more off the shoulder action on the blog this week! As much as I want Spring to arrive, I do love that I am getting to snuggle up in some cozy sweaters for now! This off the shoulder sweater is under $30 and comes in 3 colours including a beautiful blush pink which I am so tempted to add to my collection. 

This one is also longer in the back which I love so it's perfect for pairing with leggings too, which makes for a very comfy outfit to curl up in bed in, while I write some blog posts! 

Since I normally write my blog in the evenings after work or weekends I tend to have thrown on  something cozy like this outfit and snuggled down into my pile of pillows instead of sitting at a desk. Maybe one day I'll have my own little office to come home to blog from but for now I'm happy with my cozy comfy set up!
