Last year we didn't have too many decorations around the house, but this year we decorated more and I wanted share just a few snaps of our Holiday Decor with you all. We still kept things pretty simple and neutral, but added some pops of colour in, on the Hot Chocolate Bar, which I always love to get set up. I even added a wreath above our bed this year. I always use to decorate my bedroom back at my parents so I wanted to add something festive to our bedroom this year. 

We don't go crazy on decor or spend a lot, most things we already had, or I picked up on sale last year. We did add in a few new pieces I picked up in Homesense and Ikea, and we'll use those next year too. 

All of the decorations on our tree are either collected from our travels, locally sourced or from other family members trees, they all have a special memory or meaning attached to them and decorating the tree is my favourite part as I get to remember where we picked up each ornament as we hang it.

Whoops I totally forgot to hit publish on this post last week so here it is for you all! 

I meant to share our Autumn home decor with you all earlier in the season but I am only now getting round to snapping some pictures. Whilst everyone else is probably excited for Christmas now I'll be spending a couple more weeks at least enjoying all the colours of Fall before they disappear for another year. 

I like to change our decor up by switching out things like pillows and blanket, prints and candles. As you can probably tell from this post I love to find pieces in T.K. Maxx and Homesense {this isn't a sponsored post I just love shopping there}. They always have such a affordable pieces and a huge choice. We kept things pretty neutral this Autumn with juts a few pops of oranges and reds and a hint of gold! I love using blankets to add in some texture and they're perfect for the cold evenings and we have a huge stash of pumpkin candles that will probably keep us going through next Fall too!

Since our new sofa arrived I have loved nothing more than to curl up in the corner, surrounded by pillows and dressed in the comfiest pieces! It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day at work and having fresh peonies on the coffee table makes this space in more inviting. 

Now I just need to find a rug to help make this space extra welcoming. Every one I have liked so far has been sold out in a size that would work with our sofa, so please leave your favourite rugs that you think would work with my sofa in the comments below!
