Cozied Up in Aerie

I have been loving everything from Aerie recently, they have the comfiest, cosiest pieces to snuggle up in at home this winter and I have been living in them. The outfit I am wearing in this post is my favourite combination and I even ordered an extra pair of these socks because I loved them that much!
There's a little peek of some of our Christmas decor in the background too. I love how our tree turned out this year and I have a Christmas home decor post coming up next week for you, so stayed tuned!

November Favourites

I'm running a bit late with sharing my November Faves, I've been so busy getting ready for Christmas and enjoying the festive period. Most of my favourite items in this round up would make great Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers and all apart from one are really affordable too!

I first tried this nail colour after a trip to a spa a couple of years ago and it's become a firm Fall fave since. I love the deep purple colour and it has a beautiful shimmer to it as well. This polish was on my nails for most of November!

 Toffifee Chocolates

A strange choice to have in my faves but I only tried Toffifee for the first time last year, as I always thought that they were toffees. Then I found out they are hazelnuts and it was a life changing. I bought a huge multi pack of these to stock on my Hot Chocolate Bar this year and as a stocking stuffer for my Mum too as she loves them.

The most expensive item in my faves this month, and one I have been meaning to feature for a while. I had been debating trying the Luna Play as it's a much more affordable option for trying out a Foreo, when I walked into TK Maxx and found this on the shelf on clearance for £17. It's not the colour I would have chosen (that would have been pink of course) but I couldn't pass it up for the price. I have been using this facial cleansing brush for months now and it has made my skin so much softer and smoother to the touch. The Play version would be a great gift to give this Christmas and much more affordable than my Fereo Mini.

CaseApp Marble iPhone Case {20% off your order with the code 'SPARK1988'}

I have been loving my latest CaseApp arrival and it was the perfect case to switch to from my Fall pumpkin one. I always go for the tough cases because they help give your phone that extra protection, especially if you're clumsy like me. These phone cases make a great gift idea as you can personalise them and even make your own design.

I picked this sweater up in two colours and lived in them last month. They are so soft and snuggly and you'll have already seen them appear on the blog a couple of times now! They come in whole bunch of colours and are 50% off right now.

A super inexpensive item, but one that is a game changer. I don't know why I hadn't ever picked up a brush to apply my face masks before. It makes life so much easier and you make way less mess and waste a lot less product then when you use your fingers. This would make a lovely gift wrapped up with your friends favourite face mask, I personally love the Fresh face masks.

I hope you enjoyed this little round up of some of recent favourite products!

American Eagle/Aerie Try on Haul

I have loved doing these little try on hauls again this year! I use to do them years ago when I started blogging and I'm not really sure why I stopped doing them. Last month when American Eagle was having a sale I picked up  few things that I had had my eye on for a while and thought I would share them all with you as they are currently having another huge sale with everything 40% off right now!  It's the perfect time to stock up! I have already placed another order, and I've linked some of those items at the end of the post for you. I am most excited to receive this Jegging Pullover which I wish I had ordered before after seeing it on Lynzy, you can see her try on here.

{wearing size small}

I wanted to pick up this henley earlier in the year but it was sold out. I was so happy to see it back in stock so added it to my order. It also comes in a pretty pink colour. This one is more a beige oatmeal colour in real life than the picture on the website. It runs true to size but if you wanted it to be long enough to wear with leggings I would size up!

{wearing size small}

I fell in love with this sweatshirt as soon as I put it on and I have actually ordered it in more colours now. It reminds me a lot of the sweaters from H&M I have been wearing this Autumn, in that it is long enough to wear with leggings and is longer in the back. This one is thicker, but not too thick and the fabric is way more snuggly and soft. I stuck with my normal size as I am taller, so I could wear it with leggings but you could size down as it runs bigger. I actually ordered another colour in a medium so it's extra slouchy for lounging around in.
P.S I have just spied Bella in the background, I haven't grown a tail!

Can you tell I am loving all the plush pieces? You really can't go wrong with anything from the Soft & Sexy line, it's so so soft and warm. I got this basic for layering and I wish I had actually sized up in this so it was a bit longer on me. It's still great for pairing with jeans and if you are shorter than me perfect for wearing with leggings.

This was the piece I was most excited to arrive. I had seen it on a few bloggers {I loved it on Lauren} in a bunch of colours. It was hard to pick just one which is why I ended up with two, whoops! It didn't disappoint and is really warm and cozy. I actually threw this on straight out of the parcel and forgot to cut the tag out before I left the house lol! It's that good. I would say it runs big and you could size down but I stuck with my normal size so I could wear it with jeans and leggings {like in my post here}!

This colour is actually my favourite of the two I purchased. It's called mustard but it's this beautiful bright burnt orange colour and just screams Fall. I hadn't seen anything else this kind of colour and loved how different it was.

I also wanted to mention the Aerie Softest Lace Bralette I picked up too. I have been hunting and hunting for a cute bralette and just haven't found one that I liked or that fit well. Aerie has a huge range of sizes so I decided to give one of theirs a go and it is the best bralette I have ever tried. I ordered black and have already gone back for a white one too, and oh maybe a deep plum as well!

I hope you enjoyed this little haul and I will share my next order when it comes in with you all if you like too.

August Favourites

Happy Friday! So I've managed to get my August faves up just very slightly sooner than my July ones. Most of these I unfortunately can't link you to, but hopefully you'll be able to find them in a store near you!

I have been a huge fan of Jo Malone since I discovered the brand around 5 years ago! I love to layer their scenes and create my own combinations and I recently went to their store in Jarrolds Norwich and tried out some some fragrances. I ended up taking home this Body Creme in Wood Sage & Sea Salt. I remember smelling the cologne when it first came out and thinking it was nice but I wasn't sure if it was me. However I tried it in the body creme in store and was in love. I prefer how the creme smells on my skin and it's lovely layered with my favourite Nectarine Blossom & Honey.

I think this sweatshirt is now sold out but there is a whole bunch of other pieces made in the soft and sexy fabric and I may just have to pick up some more! This might be the softest thing I have purchased in a long time. It's super snuggly and was perfect for the chiller Summer evenings. I'll still be wearing it all the way through Autumn and probably into Winter too. It's a perfect year round piece.

San Pelligrino Lemonades

A bit of a random one but these lemonades are my favourite. They come in a whole bunch of flavours but the lemon and blood orange have been my favourite this Summer. My Mum got me a whole bunch of these for my birthday and it has kept as stocked for the entire Summer. I try not to drink too many sugary drinks but these I have a weakness for!

I probably didn't need another straw bag in my life, but who am I kidding this one had to join my collection. It was from H&M so it was super affordable and while it's not the strongest straw bag I own I think it'll last a few Summers. I was drawn to this bag because of the drawstring pouch inside, that also just happened to be blue and white stripes. I love basket bags but sometimes I worry I am going to spill all of my things everywhere so this one helps keep all my belongings safe. This bag kept selling out in store and online so I had to keep checking back for a good few weeks before I managed to grab one!

Aldi Fig Garden Candle

Diptyque candles are one of my favourites but I only have a few that were purchased as very special treats as they are out of my normal budget. I've always wanted to own one their big candles....maybe one day. This Summer Aldi had a special buy on these candles that can be used outdoors or indoors. I think they were £8 or £9 and since I haven't burnt mine yet I can't comment on how fragranced they are but for decoration you can't beat the price tag. I love the simple classic design and they look lovely on a coffee table or by a fireplace.

Cat Necklace {Birthday Gift}

My last favourite for August is this beautiful necklace I was gifted from my friend Laura for my birthday. I love the sweet little cat design and every time I wear it I am reminded of Bella and also Laura. I had sent Laura a similar penguin one for her birthday and so these are like a grown up friendship necklaces to us now.

So that was my little round up of the things I was loving in August and I will be back in a couple of weeks with my September Favourites! I would love to here what some of your Fall Favourites are so I can give them a try too.

Pillows & Peonies

Top: H&M // Joggers: Aerie

Since our new sofa arrived I have loved nothing more than to curl up in the corner, surrounded by pillows and dressed in the comfiest pieces! It's the perfect spot to unwind after a day at work and having fresh peonies on the coffee table makes this space in more inviting.
Now I just need to find a rug to help make this space extra welcoming. Every one I have liked so far has been sold out in a size that would work with our sofa, so please leave your favourite rugs that you think would work with my sofa in the comments below!
