Insta Outfits

Old Navy Tee // J Crew Camo Pants // J Crew Jacket // Old Navy Bag // Kate Spade Keds

Nordstrom Tee // Old Navy Jeans // Primark Cardigan //
Forever 21 Shoes // Old Navy Bag

I haven't been able to shoot any new outfits posts for the blog in weeks now so I decided to do a quick round up of some of the outfits I've worn and shared on my Instagram over the past month or so. The weather has taken a colder turn this last week and I am so excited for all the snuggly sweaters I'll be able to wear! My favourite piece from all all the above has to be this $9 ruffle hem top from SheIn, I picked it up last year but it's still in stock and a perfect layering piece for the coming months.

June Faves

So I know I warned you that my June favourites would be up a bit later, but I had wanted to get them up earlier than this! At least I've managed to share them with you before August arrived and I'm already working on my July Faves and they'll be up soon!
So let's jump into my June Faves.....

I purchased this bag on a bit of a whim because I had seen similar styles everywhere and really liked the look, but I wasn't sure how practical it would be. I managed to get this with a discount code and while I don't think this bag will last forever it is holding up better than I imagined and I can fit a lot more inside than I first thought! I used this bag throughout our trip to Paris and it was the perfect size for all my essentials!

Home Grown Peonies

This one is a no brainer! Peonies are one of my all time favourite things and you all know I think home grown ones smell the most amazing! Our peony plants had a few blooms on them this year but I loved seeing them in the garden and couldn't bear to cut them. These beauties were from my peonies in my parent's garden and this year they bloomed better than ever!

I love rocking mouse ears when I'm at Disneyland and have a classic pair of Minnie ears I got a long time ago now! But when I saw this pair in the parks this year I had to upgrade! These gold polka sequin pair are my dream pair of Minnie Mouse ears, they couldn't be more me! They're a limited edition pair to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris so if you want a pair you'll have to make a trip to the parks or I have seen some on eBay

Zara Stripe Dress {identical}

This dress doesn't need much explaining, you've already seen it in a couple of blog post and countless Insta posts too! It came to Paris with me and you'll probably see it on the blog again soon!

Disneyland Paris Micky Head Ring

Another favourite from Disneyland was the cute little double Mickey head ring! My sister got a similar one and my Mum got a necklace. They were all little treats to remember our Nanny as she paid for our trip. I won't wear it often now I'm home but it will be a sweet reminder of our family trip when I do reach for it.

Paris

Our family trip to Paris was definably the biggest highlight of June. It was Sean's first time visiting the city and we'd love to go back again! I have a bunch of posts lined up about our trip, which I might share by this time next year if I get organised haha! {I still have posts on Athens & Venice to write first}.

Zara Pink Backpack

Now this is a bag from Zara a couple of years ago but I picked this up recently for just £8 on eBay and it looks brand new!  I had been wanting a backpack for our trip to carry my camera around in and this one was in my favourite colour, an absolute steal and was perfect for a day in the Disneyland Parks! It'll definitely come in useful for future adventures too!

Floating Pineapple Whip

Sorry another favourite from Disneyland Paris that you'll have to go to the parks if you want to try! I had never seen these on our previous trips so they must have appeared in the last few years! The weather was amazing during our visit, which that meant we needed lots of drink and ice cream breaks! I had one of these the day we arrived and quickly became obsessed with them. The pineapple juice was so refreshing in the heat. Apparently in Disney World they have all sorts of favours of these, maybe I'll have to plan a trip!!

My July Favourites will be up in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned to find out what else I have been loving this Summer!

Pink & Peach Stripes

Bracelet from Venice

Happy Wednesday! You may remember I mentioned this dress here as I had wanted to pack it for our Venice trip. It may not have made it to Venice with me but it definitely deserves to make it into its own blog post! I absolutely love this mix of colours for summer and I managed to find some beautiful tulips that matched perfectly, can you spy them in the background?
This style of dress is my fave right now and I found a cute version with sleeves in Zara recently, I'll share that one here with you all soon!
My May favourites will be on the blog later this week, so stay tuned!

Insta Outfits

Nordstrom Tank // SheIn Skirt // Ann Taylor Belt // Nordstrom Hat // Gap Bag

Nordstrom Tee // Scarf from Positano // Bracelet from Venice

J Crew Dress {old} // Bag from Venice

Dorothy Perkins Dress {old} // Gap Bag

The weather has finally started to warm up here, which is why I didn't get any posts up last week, I didn't want to spend my time staring at a computer screen after work when I could be outside in the sunshine!

I have got two more post coming up this week for you though that I had planned for last week and I also thought I'd share a round up of some recent outfits I have worn. I've been wearing a lot of dresses  this month and I've paired most of them with this hat and this bag from my April Faves post. They are both great basic pieces that will pair with just about anything in a summer wardrobe!

Burano Blues

Dress: Urban Outfitters // Hat: Nordstrom // Cardigan: ASOS // Bag: Old Navy //
Shoes: Converse

I have been so excited to start sharing some posts from my trip to Venice with you all but I've been such a bad blogger again! I mean where has May crept up from? A third of 2018 is gone already, it's crazy right?!
So I thought I would share a little peek of our day trip Burano Island. It was one of my favourite parts of the trip and I shall share more pictures from this colourful island with you in another post.
I had this outfit planned since I knew we were going to Venice and just before we left the weather forecast wasn't looking too good but I decided to pack this just in case and luckily we had some beautiful weather!! I purchased this Emilia Dress on sale along with a pink and orange version (which I had also planned to pack but ended up leaving it behind in favour of some some warmer layers) and I think it is going to become a staple piece in my summer wardrobe. I love the buttons and it has pockets (why can't all dresses have pockets?), it's perfect for layering,  the fabric is super soft, what more you could want? Don't be too surprised if you see this dress on the blog again in the summer!
Every single house on Burano was beautiful but I had to stop in front of this blue one for a few quick outfit pics!

March Favourites

So I might have been bad at blogging in general so far this year but I have managed to share my favourites with you every month for the first quarter of the year and I'm proud of myself for that. I love collecting a list each month of things to share with you all, let's see if I can keep it up for the rest of the year! So here are my faves from the month of March.

I have loved Lush products for as long as I can remember and nothing beats a bubble bath with one of their bubble bars. I have tried a few of their face masks over the years but Santa put a different one in my stocking this year and I couldn't wait to try it out. It's the first time I have used one of the jelly face masks and they are so fun! The consistency of this mask starts off like jello and then as you rub it into your fingers it becomes incredibly smooth. I love the feel of this on my face and I'll definitely be repurchasing. An added bonus to this mask is it has a longer shelf life than some of the other face masks Lush does and you don't need to keep it chilled.

I feel like I don't need to explain why these are a favourite, do I?! I mean if you haven't tried a Cadbury's Mini Egg in your life, where have you been? I like a lot of sweet treats and especially the ones that appear around Easter time, if you made me pick only one Easter Treat it would be these. I can easily demolish a whole bag in one go, whoops! The diet will start after Easter haha!

I told you that I would be sharing another favourite from First Aid Beauty on the blog soon. I have been using this primer for a little while now and I already have a feeling it's something I am going to keep repurchasing over and over. I love just wearing this on its own with no make up. It gives my skin a very subtle glow and I don't even really know how to describe the feeling but my skin feels so healthy. Oh and it smells pretty amazing too!

If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen me post daily outfits featuring these thermals over and over (one made an appearance on the blog here). They are one of the cosiest pieces I have ever owned and I normally reach for one of these to throw on after work as soon as I get home. They are a closet must have in my opinion. Sizing can vary by colour I have found, I have XS, Small and Medium, it really depends on how you want them to fit. I found the beige colour to run the smallest and the lilac one to run bigger. I would stick with your regular size if you want a slightly oversized fit.

We are big fans of DW Candles in this house, I love that they come in so many different fragrances. I have had scents for every season since I moved into my house and a very sweet little girl  stocked me up ready for Spring. These candles look so pretty sat around the house and I can tell you every DW Candle we have burnt so far has filled the house with a strong fragrance (I actually find these smaller ones better than the bigger size). It'll be no surprise that out of these three the peony one is my fave ;) If you are in the UK you can always find a variety of these candles in T.K Maxx and Homesense.

I LOVE ice cream,  we are going to Italy soon and I am going to be in heaven. I had heard of Halo Top but had never seen it. So whilst I was browsing the ice cream aisle last month I was super excited to spy this brand. Now it's not the cheapest ice cream but it's a lot healthier (well I'm telling myself that) for you than others, so I feel like this is my not so naughty sweet treat. I picked up the cinnamon roll favour well because I love cinnamon rolls too, so I figured this ice cream would be a winner. The results are in and I think you're always going to find a tub of this in our freezer. It's on offer in Tesco at the moment and they got some more flavours in, I picked up the mint chip because it's one of my all time favourite ice cream flavours. Can you tell I have a lot of favourite things?!

I'd love to know what you have been loving so far this Spring, leave your favourites in the comments below :)
