I had planned to have this post go live yesterday as it was National Cocoa Day but then life happened and I didn't get around to posting whoops! I hope you all enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate yesterday though! 

My Hot Chocolate Bar is all set up again and my favourite indulgence at this time of year is cup of cocoa topped with well everything from marshmallows to gingerbread men and then a batch of freshly baked cookies on the side. 

If I am cozied up in pair of Christmas Jammies then I am even more content! Every year my collection grows and grows, is there such a thing as too many Christmas PJ's? This year my favourites have been these thermals from Old Navy, I have picked up a few different pairs and they are fun to mix and match as well.

I love bundling up in lots of layers in the winter and a good coat is always a staple on cold days. This plaid one from StyleWe is the perfect in-between option between a light jacket and a big coat! 

It's surprising warm and super soft and cozy and I love that it is a festive green plaid. You can easily layer it over chunky knits for some extra warmth and it'll go over a black dress just as easily for a winter date night!

When it comes to Christmas parries I am normally a fan of wearing something in a festive shade. red is always a winner, but I also love pastels for winter too, so this year I am trying to mix up my festive wardrobe a little more. This simple bow dress is under $25  and is in one of my favourite shades of pink. When your dress is simple you can add lots of sparkly accessories, because they are a party outfit staple in my book! Oh and don't forget some shiny ponies (those totally mood-lifting, straight-up gorgeous pairs of shoes as J Crew would say) and you are ready to go!
