Phone Snaps from Athens

We made it!
The most incredible views.

So many delicious treats, too many to try them all in a few days!

Thew view from our apartment's balcony.

The beautiful island of Aegina.

More treats!

It's been over a week since we got back from Athens now and it already seems like a distant memory and I am a dreaming of another getaway but I'm not sure we're going to be able to afford another one this year.

These are just a few quick iPhone/Insta snaps from our 4 day trip that definitely wasn't long enough especially to try all the food that was on offer. I'll be sure to share some more pictures and details from our adventure soon, and I promise it won't be like Sorrento where I never get around to sharing some pictures whoops, although they might still make an appearance on the blog later this year.

Rooftop Views

Victoria Emerson Bracelet (save 25% with code 'fiveminutestyle25'

Happy Monday everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a couple of weeks, I have had A LOT of things going on, all exciting but taking up so much of my time.
Last weekend I escaped the craziness though to take a trip to Athens with my best friend and our boys. It was so lovely to see the sun for a few days and enjoy some Greek food. How amazing is the view from the rooftop terrace of the apartment we rented? It was the perfect stop for enjoying a glass of wine whilst the sunset. I'll share some more photos from our trip with you all soon.

The Greece Collection : Anna with Love

I love supporting small businesses and watching them blossom, so I am super excited to share the latest collection from annawithloveThe Greece Collection. I was lucky enough to travel to one of the Greek Islands this summer, and her entire collection brings back sweet memories from my trip, I almost feel like I am back there by the crystal clear blue ocean. My favourites from the collection are Pegasus (Anna seems to always come across the most magical doors), Heaven on Earth ( I cannot picture anywhere more relaxing) and Aphrodite's Kiss. I have been a fan of Anna's for a while now, you can find her prints all around my room (and my sister's, she adores the entire Paris Collection) and I cannot wait to add some of her latest beauties to my gallery!

Travel Diaries: Spinalonga

I'd never heard of Spinalonga before I had planned my trip to Crete and someone had recommended that I read "The Island' a book based around Spinalonga's history as a home to a Leper Colony. My sweet mum picked up a copy of the book for me and I packed it in my suitcase and started reading it the first day by the pool. I won't tell you what happens in the book but if you haven't read it you should pick up a copy! I was half way through 'The Island' when we took a boat trip out to Spinalonga, and it was magical to see the place where the story took place and imagine the scenes from the book. Spinalonga has so much more history to it than 'The Island' tells and our tour guide explained a lot of that too us, it dates back to 1526. I find it hard to believe such a small place could support and provide for so many people that lived there up until 1957. If you ever find yourself in Crete I would highly recommend taking a trip out to this fascinating Island it's filled with such beauty.

Grecian Blue

Cynthia Rowley Dress via T.K. Maxx, DIY Jewelled Sandals, Zara Bag,
Mindy Mae's Market Bracelet c/o

When I found this dress on a trip to T.K. Maxx I knew instantly I had to have it for my trip to Crete! I patiently waited and waited until my holiday came, I wanted to save wearing it until then and it was the first thing I packed in my suitcase! It was the perfect dress to wear on my last night in Crete to celebrate the end of a blissful week!
