Laduree X Kerrie Hess Collection

I have the sweetest tooth and I find it had to pass a macaron by, there's just something about them that makes them so aesthetically pleasing and irresistible (which is why I had to photograph these hehe). I always love to stop by Laduree when I'm in London and gaze at the window displays and sweet treats.
They still had some of these adorable Kerrie Hess boxes left, so I decided to treat myself to some macarons! I love Kerrie's illustrations and I love keeping Laduree macaron boxes to store everything from twine and ribbons to my jewels in them, so this seemed like a perfect way to add one of Kerrie's beautiful designs into my home!
I received these mini cake domes as a birthday gift, you may have spotted them in my Flamingo Party Post, but they couldn't be more perfect for holding a macaron in if they tried! The 'Eat Me' tags are the perfect finishing touch, but you don't have to tell me to eat a macaron, these ones didn't last long at all!

Christmas Stationery Essentials

The Holiday season is upon us and for most people it is a pretty busy time of year. I always have a never ending To-Do list during the month of December so I try my best to get as organised as I can so I have some time left to enjoy the festive season without being stressed out. Christmas stationery is always at the top of my shopping list.

Tiny Prints is my first stop for ordering all my Christmas stationery goods, I can order everything I need in one place and have it delivered to my doorstep, and they offer super affordable and fast international shipping. I love that you can customise everything from the colour of your envelopes and liners to matching address labels. They even do custom wrapping paper!

I always like to sit down and write my Christmas Cards whilst watching a Christmas film, drinking a mug of hot chocolate and enjoying a mince pie or two . I make sure to pick up some gold and silver pens, some confetti and Christmas stamps (or you can customise your own) from the post office so I am all prepared and ready to go.

I like to buy my Thank -You cards at the same time as I buy my Christmas cards, it's always nice to send a little thank you to people who have helped you out during the year.

This year I will also be setting my Hot Chocolate Bar up again and Tiny Prints had some of the cutest party invitations so I decided to customise them and send them to all of my friends invite them round. Be sure to check back in December for my tips on throwing a Hot Chocolate Bar Party.

Thank You to Tiny Prints for collaborating with me on this post.

Morning

The mornings don't seem very inviting at the moment with all the wind and rain outside my window. Winter seems to have been going on for ever this year and I'm an eagerly awaiting Springs arrival with sunshine pouring through the curtains to wake me up. Until then though I've had to think of some other ways to make the mornings appear a little brighter. Fresh flowers on the night stand placed next to a pretty clock make for the perfect first vision of the day as I reach over to turn off the ringing alarm. I've then been making breakfast smoothies and juices from this book to make sure I start off the day full of energy. How do you like to start off you winter mornings?

Stacey's Smiles

I've already started learning a new skill in 2014 - embossing!

Starting to rearrange some prints in my room.

The sweets little surprise from Ashlyn.

A beautiful mess going on in my room.

New skin care from One Love Organics

Is it just me or is January speeding by? My To Do list hasn't gone down much yet but hopefully I will have time to start tackling it at the weekend! I've also got a little Spring make over planned for my bedroom so I'll be browsing Pintertest for inspiration, hopefully whilst wrapped up in the warm with a big mug of hot chocolate!

A Shiny Pony Painting

Last month I was inspired to do a painting of my 'Shiny Ponies' and I thrilled with how it turned out! I wanted to send one to the sweet Stephanie (check out her blog & print shop) since I first fell in love with these shoes on her Instagram. When I saw how she styled her painting this week it put the biggest smile on my face, she makes everything look so beautiful, I just had to she her picture with you all!

Black & Gold

I've noticed there has been a lot of black & gold appearing around my room recently. It's one of my favourite colour combinations especially when you throw in a little bit of pink & white too.

Make Up Brushes - Forever 21
Proverbs Print - SS Print Shop
Deer Canister - Shop City Girl
