Does it really have to be September next week already? We've had some lovely summer days this week and I was lucky enough to have one of them off from work to celebrate someone special's birthday! I'll be making the most of the last few days of August before the nights start drawing in again! Happy Weekend!!

So we are almost 7 months through 2016, WOW. It has flown! This year has been a very busy, but awesome year so far and I hope it continues that way! I have another wedding to attend next month, a sewing course later in the year and a trip to London planned so far! What have you all got to look forward to this year??

I have the sweetest tooth and I find it had to pass a macaron by, there's just something about them that makes them so aesthetically pleasing and irresistible (which is why I had to photograph these hehe). I always love to stop by Laduree when I'm in London and gaze at the window displays and sweet treats. 

They still had some of these adorable Kerrie Hess boxes left, so I decided to treat myself to some macarons! I love Kerrie's illustrations and I love keeping Laduree macaron boxes to store everything from twine and ribbons to my jewels in them, so this seemed like a perfect way to add one of Kerrie's beautiful designs into my home! 

I received these mini cake domes as a birthday gift, you may have spotted them in my Flamingo Party Post, but they couldn't be more perfect for holding a macaron in if they tried! The 'Eat Me' tags are the perfect finishing touch, but you don't have to tell me to eat a macaron, these ones didn't last long at all!

My new blogging goal is to try and blog every other week, and so far I have been sticking to it. There might not be any new posts up next week but I have more in the pipe line for the week after including my second birthday dress (see a sneak peek here and it's on sale). This weekend I am off to London again for a Hen Weekend, I'm actually looking forward to having a weekend soon where I can just sleep in and relax, but I know that this weekend is going to be packed full of celebrations and fun! I'm pretty impressed I managed to blog all week, I can't promise that for next week though! Summer is in full swing here(minus the downpours and thunder storms that seem to show up every now and again) and I am hoping it sticks around for this weekend so I can enjoy some more time outdoors! Macarons & Peonies Print Shop

Roxy was super sweet and sent me over some of her beautiful new prints for my home! The collection has a lot of Parisian inspired prints along with some fashion girl essentials, like a pair of killer heels and a copy of Vogue! Every print in her store is super affordable so it makes sense to pick up a few! As a girl with a sweet tooth, it's no surprise that the macaron print is my favourite! You can shop the whole collection here and I hear that there are some new Kate Spade inspired prints due to hit the shop soon!

Winter Wonderland 2013

On my week off I made my now annual trip to Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. I always feel so festive after a trip to London in December to see all the sparkling lights! This year the windows at Harrods were all themed on a train, and what a fabulous train it was! There was glitter and gold and sparkle everywhere, I mean a tea party with gold macarons, where was my invite? The Mulberry windows at Harrods were gorgeous too filled with lots of luxurious goodies and cute furry friends! I also made a stop by the new J Crew store, it was heaven in there, it was probably a good thing I didn't have too long to spend in there! Do you have any things you like to do every December?
