July Faves

Ok so I know we are nearly at the end of August and I am only now sharing my July faves, whoops but I am going try and do better for the rest of this year! My 7th month of faves is a small bunch, I spent a lot of time in July out and about making the most of the Summer! 

The Body Shop Face Mists

I used to use The Body Shop's Vitamin C face mist and loved spritzing it on to freshen up my face on a hot day or after a work out. This year they launched a whole range of new mists which I discovered thanks to Steph, who shared them on her Insta stories. If you are part of their 'Love You Body Club' they send you a voucher on your birthday each year and mine arrived just a after I discovered these mists. They were on offer so I decided to pick up two with my voucher, the coconut just because I love everything coconut and the mandarin which was my favourite from the scents I tried in store. They smell so good and have been perfect for this hot summer. Another tip Steph shared was to keep them in the fridge to make them extra refreshing! 

The Lion King Musical

I have now seen this musical three times! And let me tell you it's still as amazing as the first time I watched it! I took Susie for a Christmas/Birthday treat and it was her first time seeing it, I'm pretty certain she loved it too! 

Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment

I still haven't found the perfect eye cream yet so I am all about trying new ones. I was excited to try this one from Tarte, as I have a couple of their other products which I love. While I'm not sure that this eye cream is my perfect one either I do feel like its been keeping my delicate eye area super hydrated and I much prefer it to some others I have tried recently. Other positives, the packaging is super cute and Tarte is a cruelty free brand. 

Jo Loves Fragrance Discovery Experience

My girl friends are the sweetest and set me this amazing gift for my birthday! I love trying out new perfumes and this present was so me. I had received a sample of one of Jo Loves fragrances earlier this year and really loved it. There's no where near me where I can smell these so this works perfectly. I get to try out all 10 fragrances at home and then get to order a bottle of my favourite. I haven't tried them all yet so I haven't made a decision on which one I am going to chose but the current front runners are Pomelo, No.42 The Flower Shop & White Rose & lemon Leaves. Sam Edelman Bay Slide Sandals

I had been lusting over these sandals for months and was so happy when I finally found them on super super sale for 70% off and they only had my size left! It's like it was meant to be! I love how comfy they are and the slightly cushioned soles. My last pair of Sam Edelman sandals lasted me for years and hopefully these will too, now if I could just find the tan version on sale too!  

Tamara Lakeside Resort - Lithuania

My most favourite thing in July, this spot right here at the gorgeous resort we stayed at in Lithuania. I will share more about our trip in another post but for now I will share the place I loved sitting and reading my book and relaxing. I wish I was back there now!

Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been so MIA again. The weather has been so beautiful this Summer that I have been busy making the most of it and since Sean actually has some evenings off in the Summer, sitting at my computer when I get home from work has not even been an option I have though about!

At the end of June my Mum & sister organised a surprise picnic birthday brunch for me and they took me to these gorgeous hidden gardens in the centre of Norwich. I just realised when uploading these pictures that we didn't get many photos of the 'garden' itself, I was too busy obsessing over these beautiful steps! Oh well we will just have to go back again and take some more! With all the sunshine we've had it really felt like we were somewhere in Southern Europe for the morning. And how cute it the little Fortnum & Mason basket?! I had been eyeing one for a while and they picked one up for my birthday for me!

June Faves

So I know I warned you that my June favourites would be up a bit later, but I had wanted to get them up earlier than this! At least I've managed to share them with you before August arrived and I'm already working on my July Faves and they'll be up soon! 

So let's jump into my June Faves.....

Urban Outfitters Straw Circle Crossbody Bag

I purchased this bag on a bit of a whim because I had seen similar styles everywhere and really liked the look, but I wasn't sure how practical it would be. I managed to get this with a discount code and while I don't think this bag will last forever it is holding up better than I imagined and I can fit a lot more inside than I first thought! I used this bag throughout our trip to Paris and it was the perfect size for all my essentials! 

Home Grown Peonies

This one is a no brainer! Peonies are one of my all time favourite things and you all know I think home grown ones smell the most amazing! Our peony plants had a few blooms on them this year but I loved seeing them in the garden and couldn't bear to cut them. These beauties were from my peonies in my parent's garden and this year they bloomed better than ever! 

Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Minnie Mouse Ears 

I love rocking mouse ears when I'm at Disneyland and have a classic pair of Minnie ears I got a long time ago now! But when I saw this pair in the parks this year I had to upgrade! These gold polka sequin pair are my dream pair of Minnie Mouse ears, they couldn't be more me! They're a limited edition pair to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Disneyland Paris so if you want a pair you'll have to make a trip to the parks or I have seen some on eBay! 

Zara Stripe Dress {identical}

This dress doesn't need much explaining, you've already seen it in a couple of blog post and countless Insta posts too! It came to Paris with me and you'll probably see it on the blog again soon! 

Disneyland Paris Micky Head Ring 

Another favourite from Disneyland was the cute little double Mickey head ring! My sister got a similar one and my Mum got a necklace. They were all little treats to remember our Nanny as she paid for our trip. I won't wear it often now I'm home but it will be a sweet reminder of our family trip when I do reach for it. 

Paris

Our family trip to Paris was definably the biggest highlight of June. It was Sean's first time visiting the city and we'd love to go back again! I have a bunch of posts lined up about our trip, which I might share by this time next year if I get organised haha! {I still have posts on Athens & Venice to write first}.

Zara Pink Backpack

Now this is a bag from Zara a couple of years ago but I picked this up recently for just £8 on eBay and it looks brand new!  I had been wanting a backpack for our trip to carry my camera around in and this one was in my favourite colour, an absolute steal and was perfect for a day in the Disneyland Parks! It'll definitely come in useful for future adventures too!

Floating Pineapple Whip

Sorry another favourite from Disneyland Paris that you'll have to go to the parks if you want to try! I had never seen these on our previous trips so they must have appeared in the last few years! The weather was amazing during our visit, which that meant we needed lots of drink and ice cream breaks! I had one of these the day we arrived and quickly became obsessed with them. The pineapple juice was so refreshing in the heat. Apparently in Disney World they have all sorts of favours of these, maybe I'll have to plan a trip!!

Summer 2018 To Do List

I know I am am the worst blogger ever! I have been meaning to stop by here and say hi again but just haven't had the time! I have so many posts I want to share with you all and I haven't forgotten my June Faves, they will be up soon.

We have been having some beautiful weather here recently, I don't know what has happened to England but I am not going to complain!
