I hope 2017 has been off to a fabulous start for everyone! It's been rather chilly here and I feel like winter is only just starting. I knitted some snoods for my friends as Christmas gifts and just had time to make myself a longer version too! I have been wearing it none stop, it's just so warm! I am going to try and expand my knitting skills this year and try some more adventurous projects! 

I'll be sharing some of my 2017 goals later this week with you all!

Almost The Weekend...

I don't know about you but I am so ready for the weekend to be here, can you believe we are heading into the final part of 2016?! I am looking forward to curling up in some comfy clothes like this super soft sweatshirt from SheIn and working on my latest knitting project this weekend. 

I love picking up pieces from SheIn, they are always super affordable and arrive pretty quickly too. They have everything you could need for any occasion, from cozy knits for rainy weekends at home to a fabulous floral dress for a wedding, and they have a huge range of blanket scarves which you know I love! You might have a noticed a little guest in this blog post...we have no idea who she belongs to but our neighbour has named her Cookie and she likes to stop by for some dinner and treats every now and again. This time she wanted to be in front of the camera too!

Knitted Christmas Coffee Cozy

I love to make homemade gifts to give to my friends and this year I have been gifting some of these Christmas Coffee Cozies. My knitting skills aren't very advanced at all but these were pretty simple to make even for me and you can make them in any colour combinations you want making them perfect for personalising. 

You will need:

Double Knit Wool 

Size 4.5mm Knitting Needles

Decorations (I ordered mine from here)

Cast on 38 Stitches

Row 1 - Knit

Row 2 - Purl

Row 3-4 - Knit

Row 5-17 - Knit Two, Purl Two

Row 18 - Purl

Row 19 - Knit

Row 20 - Purl

Row 21 - Cast Off

Sew your ends together and then add any decoration you like!

Happy Friday!! I cannot believe it is December next week, I am so so excited to start decorating for Christmas! I am off to visit my best friend today and spend the weekend at a Christmas Market, I am looking forward to drinking mulled wine and bundling up in my knits this weekend to do some exploring!

When I woke up on Saturday and heard the weather outside I did not want to leave my bed. Luckily the rain stopped for a bit and I got to bundle up in my cozy bobble hat and the scarf I knitted myself!
