Snail Mail

I love the feeling of seeing a pretty envelope lying on my door mat when I get on from work, which is why I love to send out snail mail so much! I always have a stack of note cards on hand and these ones are from the lovely Jessica Marie, they are the cutest note cards I've had on my desk in a while! I love the black and white stripe detail and you can get them monogrammed too! I always have some cute pencils on hand to write with and a pinch of confetti to throw inside! Washi tape is also a must for sealing up envelopes and packages. Jessica has lots of cute cards in her store to choose from,  the Je T'aime ones are next on my wish list!

I hope all you UK ladies haven't forgotten that it is Mother's Day this weekend! I have a few things lined up to spoil my Mum! One thing I am not looking forward to  this weekend is loosing an hour of sleep on Sunday morning, but it means the days are lighter for longer which is a huge plus in my book! Happy Weekend!!!

Happy Friday! I have been battling a nasty cold all week so I am more than glad that the weekend is almost here and I won't have to get up for work! I plan on taking things easy and baking my first apple pie of the season after a trip to the Farmer's Market this weekend.

Happy Friday, it always comes around so quickly! This week has been a pretty good one and when I saw they had some peonies at the florist it made my day! I'm looking forward to relaxing over the long weekend even if mine is Sunday to Tuesday. I can't believe September is just around the corner!

Confetti Painting

Over the Bank Holiday weekend I decided to try my hand at some art! I had a canvas laying around (I randomly purchased it when I couldn't find polystyrene Easter eggs to paint) and decided that even I could manage to somehow to put brush to canvas without it looking a complete mess. I was never any good at art in school and if you ask me to paint/draw something in front of me it's going to look like a blob no matter what it is no matter how hard I try. However I am really pleased with how this turned out and I surprised myself by enjoying painting and the perfectionist in me seemed to disappear as I just randomly painted my confetti dots away.
