Mother, Daughter, Sister

It was Mother's Day yesterday here in the UK and I for one am very grateful for my Mum. She has always been there for me when I need her, even if she isn't feeling well herself, she'll always put me first.
I am also very proud to have a little sister too! So I thought this year it would be nice to get my Mum & sister a gift that will always remind us all of the bond we share.

I wanted to get something a bit different so Uncommon Goods seemed like perfect place to search, I love how unusual all the jewelry pieces are. I decided to go for necklaces as they are the one piece we all wear on a regular basis and the selection (found here) left my stuck for choice.

I ended up going with these stunning handcrafted 'My Heart Within Yours' necklaces. They are a beautiful handmade lace dipped in gold and silver and I love how every single one is slightly different and unique. You can find the earrings to match here.

If you are looking for a piece of jewelry with something a little bit different you will be spoilt for choice. Not only will you find unique pieces like these necklaces you will also find many pieces made from up-cycled or recycled materials, how fun! Make sure to read about the maker of each piece too, they have the most wonderful stories to share.  Check out more unusual jewelry here.

If you live in the UK you've missed your chance to shop for your Mother's Day gifts but luckily most countries celebrate in May and Uncommon Goods have fast shipping all over the world, so you still have time to find endless gifts for you Mum here

Thank You to Uncommon Goods for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

Mindy Mae's Market

One of my favourite things about blogging has been the chance to connect with so many new people and discovering new brands and small businesses! Mindy Mae's Market was one of my Instagram finds, I can't resist things that sparkle, I'm like a magpie I am so excited to be working as a brand representative for them and they were kind enough to send me these beautiful gems! The 'Lucy' necklace is a must have, I am going to be wearing this piece a lot! It arrived on Saturday and has been firmly placed around my neck for the past two days! This dainty heart ring hasn't left my finger either and it's great reminder when I look down to share some love!

Follow me on Instagram here to see how I style these sparkly goodies and you can save 10% off your own  Mindy Mae's Market purchase by entering the code 'spark1988' at checkout! Happy Shopping!

New Sparkle

Just sharing some more peony love.

You all know I love Bauble Bar I have raved about my love for it many times before! One thing I love about Bauble Bar that I haven't mentioned before is they also stock pieces from featured designers such as Gorjana Griffin, Maya Brenner and Sarah Chloe!

I recently picked up two beautiful pieces, one from Gorjana Griffin and one from Maya Brenner. I had fallen in love with Maya Brenner pieces before so I was so excited to be able to use some of vault points* towards my purchase! I picked up the asymmetrical mini letter necklace in gold with in 'S' of course. It is so dainty in person and such a beautiful piece to wear on it's own or layer with other necklaces.

The ring is the Lena Shimmer Ring from Gorjana Griffin and boy does in sparkle! I haven't taken it off and I love stacking it with my other thin gold rings.

If you're not already a member of Bauble Bar you can sign up here and get $10 off your first purchase. If you are already a member start shopping here now!

*Vaults Points are another Bauble Bar perk. Earn 1 point for each $1 spent and use them towards another purchase!

Stella & Dot Trunk Show Picks

While I wish I could have an actual Stella & Dot Trunk Show and invite you all over to my house for some macarons and sparkle, I can't since my lovely readers are spread all over the world. So instead I am having an online Trunk Show which you can shop here and these are some of my favourite picks from Stella & Dot right now.

Also don't forget if you shop the Trunk Show in June (you have until Sunday) you will earn $25 Dot dollars for every $50 you spend, and you can spend these dollars on even more goodies in July, so really you'll be getting 50% of your money back but in gorgeous jewellery and accessories!
This ikat How Does She Do It Tote ($89) would be perfect as a weekender or carry on for a flight! I'd pair it with a white tee, jeans, a big scarf (love this S&D one) and flip flops for the ultimate comfy travel outfit.

The Juniper Statement Necklace ($118) would look gorgeous with this Opening Ceremony dress for a summer party or I'd dress up my favourite LBD with it.
The Bring It All Jewellery Roll ($39) is perfect for travelling so all your jewels don't get tangled and arrive at their destinations safely and how cute are the little elephants!

You all know I love the Serenity Stone Drops ($49) but these Sanibel Chandeliers ($49) are another great option to dress at your ear, and the shimmer is so pretty.
The Renegade Cluster Bracelet ($59) needs no introduction and you can pair it with anything! I have a look a like and it's on my wrist nearly every day!

Have fun shopping the Trunk Show and let me know how you would style your favourite Stella & Dot pieces.

Don't forget to enter my giveaway to win a $50 Stella & Dot gift card here and if you make a purchase from the Trunk Show you get an extra five entries, just leave your order number!

Spring Sparkle

I've been picking up a few new pieces of jewellery recently. It's such a cheap way to update your wardrobe for Spring if you haven't got much to spend. I especially love adding earrings into my outfits at the moment!

Bauble Bar Monogram Necklace Review

You already all know that I love Bauble Bar (I raved about it here). If the earrings didn't sell you maybe this monogram necklace will. Monogram necklaces are everywhere, and I couldn't decide where to order one from, but when I noticed I had enough points to purchase one from Bauble Bar, my mind was made up. My usual indecisive self was debating between the medium and large but I ended up going for the large and it's the perfect size! I think this is the most beautiful way I've ever seen my initials written.

Purchase your own monogram here in small, medium or large! And if you haven't joined Bauble Bar yet you can do that here!

Recent Purchases

Since I started doing a major wardrobe clean out and realised just how many clothes I have, I've been more aware of what I've been spending money on and I'm trying not to buy any new clothes for a month, so far I've gone two weeks without making a clothing purchase. Instead I've been buying a few beauty(and food)treats instead.

I'm not a huge beauty and make up fan but I'm slowly trying new products out.

I've used Lush bath products for years, but I've never tried their skincare so I picked up a mask and scrub to try.

I couldn't go to London without going back with a little box from Laduree.

These delicate thin bands were calling my name on a stall at Spitalfields Market, they're only gold plated so were very reasonable and are perfect for stacking with my other rings.

I was so excited to find Essie polishes in TK Maxx, I've never seen them before and even better, I managed to get 3 bottles for just £5 in the clearance section, they had quite a few packs of 3 and most were priced at £10. I was even more excited when I saw the Sally Hansen Salon Effects because they have never been released in the UK that I know of. I picked up some fun ones for Halloween.

Recent Vintage Purchases

This past weekend was like a treasure hunt for adults! I went to a different  vintage fair on each day and both of them were filled to the brim with antiques, sparkle and clothing galore! I saw so many pieces I loved but I was very restrained and only purchased pieces I fell head over heels for!

This turquoise and cream crochet duchess set was one of the first things I found buried under  a lot of plain cream and white lace ones! I'm not sure where I am going to use these yet but I'll find them a home!

This pink coat was my favourite find of the weekend! I had been in love with a similar one from Zara and was waiting for it to go on sale but when it did it was no where to be found! This coat jumped out from the rails and looks almost new! It was from the 50's/60's and I can't help but feel a little bit like Elle Woods in Legally Blonde when I put this on! It's perfect for over dresses and when it gets colder I'll be throwing it on over jeans!

On Sunday there were even more rails, chests and stands to hunt throw but after finding my coat nothing seemed quite as fabulous to me! I did come home with some sparkles to add to the collection!

Outfit Of The Day: In Reverse

Last weekend I wore a bright shirt with white shorts, so I decided to switch things around this weekend and wear a white sweater with bright shorts! Although we had showers throughout the day I stuck with my shorts, I'm trying to get as much wear as I can out of them before fall starts!

Outfit Of The Day: Bright Florals

After wearing the pink version of this shirt (here) I had to get my yellow one on straight away too! I've also been getting so many compliments on my DIY earrings! And I recently added some more Rebecca Minkoff bags to my collection. I had a Nikki, MAM & a Matinee but I was missing a MAC so I went and got two! This gorgeous turquoise one, which is perfect for a pop of colour and then a navy one which will be making an appearance soon!
