It's been super cold here this week and as much as I love sweater weather I am wishing for Spring to arrive soon! I have a exciting few weekends coming up that I can't wait for, starting with visiting my best friend in Birmingham this weekend! I can't wait to see her and enjoy some sugary treats at this cafe! Happy Weekend!
I told you you'd be seeing more off the shoulder action on the blog this week! As much as I want Spring to arrive, I do love that I am getting to snuggle up in some cozy sweaters for now! This off the shoulder sweater is under $30 and comes in 3 colours including a beautiful blush pink which I am so tempted to add to my collection.
This one is also longer in the back which I love so it's perfect for pairing with leggings too, which makes for a very comfy outfit to curl up in bed in, while I write some blog posts!
Since I normally write my blog in the evenings after work or weekends I tend to have thrown on something cozy like this outfit and snuggled down into my pile of pillows instead of sitting at a desk. Maybe one day I'll have my own little office to come home to blog from but for now I'm happy with my cozy comfy set up!
I always like to start re-organising things around my room every time a new year or season rolls around and adding in some new little details, but without spending too much money.
One of my favourite things is having fresh flowers beside my bed, luckily a sweet friend of mine dropped round last week with some blooms in hand! Tulips always make me think Spring is on the way.
Candles are another thing I love to have around and a new scent is always a little treat. My sister gifted me this Jo Malone one for Christmas. Their candles smell amazing but if you are on more of a budget I love picking up some candles from T.K Maxx.
Jo Malone has also become my favourite place to pick up cologne and I have a little growing collection (I normally like to pick one up at the airport and save a few dollars) and I decided to make a little display of them in my room so I feel like I'm 'shopping' my perfumes every day!
I displayed them on a little marble tray I picked up from H&M Home, and as my friend's know me so well, one of them got me the cutest personalised marble coaster for Christmas!
I have a growing collection of prints too and I love changing up my shelf above my bed and also my gallery wall. My favourite places to pick up prints are the Anna with Love Shop, SS Print Shop and Etsy, especially H Nichols Illustration.

What are some of your favourite ways to refresh your home for the New Year?
I have a new found obsession with off the shoulder sweaters, and it all started with this gorgeous dusky pink one from Missguided. This sweater is only £15 and comes in a whole range of colours, I keep being tempted to purchase one in another colour but as I already got the dress version in white I have managed to resist for now! Missguided often has discount codes though which means you'll be able to snap one up for even more of a bargain like I did.
You'll probably be seeing some more off the shoulder action on the blog later this week, so stay tuned!
A peek at an outfit that will be up on the blog soon!
This week has gone extra quickly for some reason, but I am glad the weekend is almost here again! There's a space in my planner to write my main goal for the week and this week's was to clean my mess of a bedroom, so you'll find me spring cleaning this weekend!
There's still some amazing sales going on and it's the perfect time to pick up some bargains! As I'm only buying things I really need this year I've been hunting for dresses for the weddings I will be attending in 2017, there is so many beautiful ones here I had a hard time making a choice!
I got a nasty cold over Christmas and New Year, so I have been making an effort to get out and get some fresh air even when it's damp and miserable outside. This sweater from SheIn is over sized perfection! It's super snuggly and perfect to throw on when you're not feeling too well, it'll soon warm you up.
