Stacey's Smiles :)

Spring is finally here as we say goodbye to March! I'm loving seeing the sun and I'm looking forward to Easter next weekend so I can eat some biscuits again! I can't wait to try this recipe out!

I am loving all the daffodils that are around and they are filling our house right now too!

I finally got a new camera! I couldn't afford a DSLR so I went for an advanced compact instead! This one is similar.

We went to pick my sister up from University today, she's home for Easter :) I was messing about in the car on the way down! The road trip went quickly thanks to my addiction to draw something!

Outfit Of The Day: Navy Florals

The weather here has been gorgeous this past week and there are flowers coming into bloom everywhere! I pulled out this H&M shirt from last year so I could blend in with all the beautiful flowers everywhere! I also went on the hunt for a straw wreath, so I can make this Easter wreath and I could not find one anywhere, I hunted high and low! The only thing I could find was a polystyrene wreath and it wasn't as big as I'd hoped but hopefully it'll work out!

Designer Love: Lorarty Jewellery

One of the things I love about markets is all the undiscovered designers I get to find! I found Lorarty Jewellery when I went to the Winter Wonderland In Hyde Park back in December! As I walked past, all the twisted copper caught my eye and when I saw this turquoise piece hanging there I was sold! I treated myself with part of my Christmas bonus from work and now I wish I'd picked up one of the bracelets too! This is such a statement piece it's best paired with something simple so it can be shown off in all it's glory! I also love that you can bend it and wear it in slightly different ways!

You can check out the Lorarty Online Store here.

And if you want to win some gorgeous jewellery for your self head on over to Shrimp Salad Circus, where there is a giveaway for a gorgeous piece of Frieda Sophie Jewellery! Enter here!

Outfit Of The Day: Oatmeal & Mint

I decided to wear mint again, but paired it with a more neutral oatmeal colour this time for a casual Sunday outfit! I added a bit of my handmade sparkle and my current favourite bow flats!

I Did (Or Tried To Do) Something Amazing Today

At the beginning of 2012 one of my 'resolutions' was to donate blood. I finally got around to going today. My dad came with me as I was a being a bit of a scaredy cat. Well after the finger prick and checking everything was ok, they struggled to find a good vein. Eventually they did but my arm wasn't ready to give up a full pint of blood. I was disappointed that I didn't get to make a full donation but I will go again after the 16 weeks you have to wait, and see if my body is more willing to give up the blood next time. I wanted to take one of the 'I Gave Blood Today' stickers but didn't feel I deserved one, so I'm hoping that next time I feel I deserve one! I'm also excited to find out my blood group as I have no idea what it is!

As my body didn't want to give up much blood, I'd love for all of my readers to go and donate blood if you don't already and let me know how you get on! It's an amazing thing to do and you could help save someones life!

Stacey's Smiles :)

My smiles are coming to you a bit late this week! I don't really have anything too exciting to share with you all, it was a pretty boring working week for me, the highlight being having fish and chips for lunch on Saturday, that definitely made working on Saturday more acceptable!

I thought I'd share some things I'm lusting over with you instead!!

Ever since I saw this dress on Cupcakes & Cashmere I have wanted it, but the price tag is out of my range.

Elizabeth & James Floral Marissa Dress

These sandals are more in my price range. I need some sparkle for my feet this summer.
Zara Glitter Vamp Shoe

I love the YSL Arty Rings, I think this is going to be the next thing I save for, but I just don't know which colour to go for! I love the pink, but I think a more neutral colour would be more versatile.

These Current/Elliott jeans are perfect for spring!

This ASOS skirt is in my favourite spring colour!

Outfit Of The Day: Layers

The sun peeking through my window when I woke up tricked me into thinking it was going to be another bright cheerful day! Unfortunately when I was ready to leave the house the heavens decided it was time to open! I grabbed some more clothes and layered up! Oh and we don't really celebrate St Patty's day here but I wore a little bit of green anyway!

Shenae Grimes in Zara

Early this month Shenae Grimes was seen wearing the Zara lace tulip dress, made famous by Princess Kate, whilst filming on the set of 90210.

Zara Lace Tulip Dress £69.99

It seems the 90210 wardrobe department are loving the spring Zara line as much as I am! This week Shenae was seen wearing more from the Spring 2012 line!

I tried on this blouse (here) and it' super cute, but very sheer! I passed on it because I didn't feel that it sat right on me, but Shenae looks fabulous in it!

Zara Beaded Peter Pan Collar Blouse £29.99

Outfit Of The Day: Something New & Blue

I wore my new Zara jacket out last week when it warmed up enough to go without long sleeves! I hope we have some more weather like it soon!

Outfit Of The Day: Classic Cardigan

I loved this cardigan in the bright pink when I tried in on here, but when I had a code for H&M that gave me almost 50% an item I decided to go with the white and black as I felt I had more to pair it with! I may still have to pick up the pink when it goes on sale though!

J Crew Viv Vs Me Too Patty Vs New Look Bow Flats

If you follow Glitter Guide on Instagram or Twitter you will have seen the ever so cute Me Too Patty flats Taylor has been wearing. They retail for $89 and come in a few colour choices!

They are a great look for less of the popular J Crew Viv Bow Flats that retailed for $228, but are now sold out online. You can get 2 pairs of the Me Too flats and still have some change left over!

And if you want to save even more money I found these similar shoes in New Look for just £15.99.

They come in black and snake skin but in store they have the nude pair on sale for just £5. The store by me still had quite a few pairs left, so I'm sure they're still in stores! My only criticism is I wish the bow was bigger, but for £5 I'll settle with these!
