This is my traditional Apple Picking uniform, a plaid shirt, long boots, and a cross body bag! I normally add a vest for some extra warmth but this year the weather was still pretty nice when we went to the orchard for the first time, so I left mine in the car! This is Part One of 2016's Apple Picking Adventures as I have some more pictures to share with you all soon, these are just the outfit ones!

How adorable is this polka dot sweater from Mindy Mae's Market?! It is perfect for layering up in on cold winter days but it's lightweight enough that when Spring arrives I'll be able to pair it with midi skirts and sandals. We finally got a little bit of snow over the weekend but it didn't last long enough for me to build a snowman. My Hunter boots still came out to splash through the puddles left though.  Tomorrow I'll be sharing how I quickly switched up my outfit for date night.

Under The Apple Trees

One of my favourite Fall activities is heading to the local apple orchards for a spot of family apple picking. I always stick with the same uniform of a plaid shirt, a puffer vest and some long boots. There were over 100 varieties of apple available at the orchards last weekend, it was so hard to know which ones to try! We picked a mixture of eating and cooking apples to bring home with us and most of them are gone already, we will have to make another visit soon before the season is over. I don't know why it is but the apples always seem juicer and full of flavour when we've hand picked them!

Autumn seems to have arrived overnight, and although the nights are drawing in there are plenty of things that I am looking forward to in fall.



Getting cozy after work in this cute sweatshirt from Old Navy I've just ordered.

I'm not really a coffee drinker but I can't turn down a Pumpkin Spice Latte since Starbucks introduced them here last year!

Making a fall wish list, which has this J Crew bag at the top of the list.

Crunching through golden leaves on my way to work in (hopefully) a pair along Hunter wellies.
