Yesterday I introduced you to this Mindy Mae's Market polka dot sweater. I am so in love with it that I never want to take it off, so I decided to keep it on for date night and just change things up a bit. I switched out my Hunter boots for some cream heels, lost the chambray and added my favourite wool coat to make my outfit more cinema date appropriate.

How adorable is this polka dot sweater from Mindy Mae's Market?! It is perfect for layering up in on cold winter days but it's lightweight enough that when Spring arrives I'll be able to pair it with midi skirts and sandals. We finally got a little bit of snow over the weekend but it didn't last long enough for me to build a snowman. My Hunter boots still came out to splash through the puddles left though.  Tomorrow I'll be sharing how I quickly switched up my outfit for date night.

Summer is slowly fading away already as the days get shorter and the weather turns cooler. I am savouring every last moment of it, even though I cannot wait for Autumn to be in full swing! I'm layering up my favourite summer pieces like this dress, with light shirts and jackets so I can still get a few more wears out of them in the cooler summer temperatures before the boots and sweaters come out again.

Every piece in this outfit you will have seen before on my blog! The top and jeans were from Lauren's first collection with Kohl's and they have been worn too many times to count! I always reach for them when I don't know what else I feel like wearing that day!

Outfit Of The Day: Blu Moon Maxi
