Last year I fell in love with this Equipment blouse after seeing Emily from Cupcakes & Cashmere wear it in both black and nectar. Unfortunately $208 is more than a tad out of my budget so whilst browsing Forever 21 earlier today I got more than a little excited when I saw this shirt for only £11.50. That's means saving over 90%. It comes in black, cream, mint and light pink. And the even better news my shopping ban is over tomorrow!

Toasty Toes

Happy Wednesday! Yes I am wearing Ugg boots in my blog pictures! My circulation is awful and my toes haven't been warm in days so I'm living in my Uggs and multiple layers of socks until I get some feeling back in my toes!

It has been one of those weeks which started out good and ended awfully. I haven't felt like smiling much these past couple of days but I have to remember that tomorrow is always a new day and a fresh start again. My prints from the SS Print Shop did arrive on Friday which cheered my up a lot, along with the carrot cake I made myself after work!

Shopping Ban Update

Well I only have 7 days left to go on my shopping ban and it has been a lot easier than I thought it would be! I was almost tempted by the 40% and free shipping at J Crew on Monday but I resisted! I have been deleting all the offer emails as soon as they arrive in my box without opening them.

I do have a wish list for March and these are a few of things I've been eyeing.

eShakti Review

eShakti contacted me a while ago and asked me if I would like sample one of there pieces and review it for my blog! I had such a hard choice picking out something but I decided to go for a dress I could wear for work and then easily take to an evening out.

eShakti stocks clothes from a size US 0 right through to a US 36. The thing I loved most about the site is that you can customise pieces in anyway you like, from the sleeve type to the length. You can also submitted custom measurements to get the perfect fit!

I went for a simple black dress with a peplum detail and because you can enter your height it was the perfect length for me to wear to work! I always struggle to find dresses a suitable length for work because I am climbing up on stools and bending over to reach things all day I need the dress to be a bit longer than if I was in an office environment.

To take my work look to evening, I added a pair of simple heels, some pearls, a sparkly clutch and pinker lip.

I love Jessica Alba's off duty style, she always looks so chic and put together even in just jeans and tee! I just spotted these pictures of Jessica out in West Hollywood yesterday and instantly recognised her adorable coat from the new H&M catalogue that arrived on my doorstep last week. Springtime Nails

After seeing so many pictures of the beautiful pastel Estee Lauder nail Lacquers all over Instagram, I had the urge to paint my nails lilac this weekend! I have also loved the half moon manicures I've seen on Pinterest, so I tried it out on one nail because I didn't have time to do all my nails!

I cannot believe that it is Friday again already, I'm not too sure where this week has gone and what I have achieved! I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day! As a single girl it's not my favourite day of the year but my best friend surprised me after work with some sweet gifts and we just hung out since her boyfriend was away!

Shopping Ban Update - I am still going strong, no purchases yet and I am half way there! I have been buying craft things instead and I have an ever growing wish list for when the month is up! How is everyone else doing?

I fell in love with this coat back last year when I found an odd one left in my local H&M, but it wasn't my size! However good things come to those who wait because I found this on sale for over 50% off and I think it's the perfect coat to take me into spring!

So I have made it 8 days in to my shopping ban with out any temptations as of yet! I have loved seeing all the pictures from New York Fashion Week, my twitter feed has been filled with updates from all the lovely bloggers attending so I don't feel like I'm missing out!  I have work tomorrow and on Sunday I am going to try and finish my current DIY project!
