Good Luck Black Cat Cupcakes

There is not a single occasion that cupcakes aren't perfect for! Last week I made these cute little cat cupcakes to wish good luck to one of the girls who was leaving at work! I used a plain chocolate mixture and I will admit to cheating with the frosting and using Betty Crocker chocolate fudge icing to save some time!

I found these bright shirts (I got a yellow one too) on sale for just £3 each last weekend, they're so lightweight they're perfect for summer! I kept it simple and just paired it with a pit of crisp white shorts for a releasing laid back Saturday.

Outfit Of The Day: Florals At The Beach

I spent my Sunday morning gift shopping with my best friend from work and on the way back I ended up going via the coast! I hadn't been to the beach in ages and although it was rather windy and I wasn't dressed for the beach I couldn't help but take a quick stroll along the sea front!

DIY: Painted Crystals

I finally found some earrings that were perfect for a craft project I've had in mind for months! I love all the painted jewellery out there and I knew it would be super easy to make! I wanted to try out something small and simple first because I wasn't sure I would have the patience to sit and do a whole necklace yet, but after doing these earrings I think I'll try and find a necklace to hand-paint soon! 

I used three coats in the end to get a solid colour and then added a top coat to seal the polish!

The sun is back hooray!! Recently I've been wearing a lot of lightweight shirts over skirts and dresses and tying them in the front! They're great for when it gets cooler as the day goes on and protecting my shoulders from the suns rays!

Sale Purchases

I had avoided going shopping since the sales started (apart from a little bit in London) because I always end up purchasing things that I don't really need and don't match well with my wardrobe! This time I was a lot more careful when I was hunting through the sale racks, and only purchased items that I had already been eyeing for a while and they just happened to have my size left! My best purchase of the day was the gold cuffs on sale from Miss Selfridge. A pair of these were on my list to look for and I found these on sale for 70% and I saved even more with my student discount!
