Stylistpick & Stylemint Review

Last week I found out that Stylemint was available in the UK from Stylistpick! I already own some Stylemint pieces and I love them, so I decided to try out Stylistpick! I placed my order on Friday and it arrived Monday morning, I wasn't expecting my package until Wednesday! Delivery is always free and incase you don't love you new purchase returns are free too! My Stylemint dresses came packaged in the same cute brown paper and suede string you get directly from Stylemint!

I purchased the Broadway Dress in the red and blue because I couldn't decide which I liked better! I take a size 1 in the tees but decided to size up one size in the dresses because I was worried they'd be too short! I could have easily gone with my normal size but these still look adorable and I'm happier with a little bit of extra length!

And just incase you can have any problems I can tell you that the Stylistpick customer service is amazing! I made an error when signing up for my account (I was rather sleepy when I created my account) and the customer service rep emailed me back almost instantly and called me at a time that was convenient for me and got my issue sorted out straight away!

There's no monthly fees with Stylistpick so you can make purchases whenever you feel like it and not have to worry about remembering to skip a month! The only downside I've found is they don't have the selection you get in the US from Stylemint  but I'm sure they'll have more choices soon!  Sign up for Stylistpick here!

Outfit Of The Day: Scalloped Edges

I couldn't wait to where my Spike The Punch necklace so I paired it with some of favourite pink H&M pieces, this scalloped jacket is one of my favourite pieces in my closet even though it's from last year!

Last week when I was having a rather awful day at work, I came home in my lunch break to find this little beauty waiting for me and it instantly cheered me up! I have been waiting to get my hands on one of these Spike The Punch necklaces for a while and when I saw the 'Pretty Shiny Sparkly Necklace', I knew it was the perfect piece! Pink and sparkly are just down my street! These necklaces are hard to get your hands on, they normally sell out straight away, so you have to be quick if you want to get one! I'm hoping the Glitter Guide Rainey will come back in stock soon so I can start a little Spike The Punch collection!

I couldn't wait to wear this beauty out! My next outfit post will be featuring her!!

Birthday Wishlist

When I was younger it was so easy to make birthday and Christmas wish lists, I used to get catalogues and cut out pictures of all the things I hoped for and would spend hours making my wish list into a master piece! Now that I'm older I find it so much harder to come up with a birthday wish list! I guess it's a mixture of having my own money and being able to purchase things myself and also realising that you just don't need all of those things that will be collecting dust in the corner within a few weeks, it's quality over quantity now!


Here are a few things I have realistically wished for this year, a Chanel Bag is always top of my list but I don't think I'll ever be getting that!

I love adding a hint of leopard print into an outfit with something simple like a scarf! I picked this one up in the H&M sale and I love that the leopard spots are a peachy orange, perfect for matching in with all my other peach items I've purchased this year!

Wow there is only a week left of June, and it's my birthday next week! I really hope the summer doesn't fly past before I realise, I'm hoping for lots of warm summer evenings so I can enjoy some free time after work to relax!

We're half way through June already, I can't believe it, my birthday is less than two weeks away now! I'm half excited and half dreading it, I wish the numbers would start decreasing now instead of increasing every year!

Africa Alive

I would love to go on Safari in Africa but I don't think that is going to happen anytime soon, so I did the nest best thing and visited Africa Alive! I took my mum on the 'Plains of Africa' experience while we were there as a belated birthday present so she could get up close and personal to her favourite animal, the giraffes! I was surprised how friendly the giraffes were but I think it was mainly because they knew we had food for them! I also got to walk around with some lemurs, feed some goats, see a day old baby mongoose (anyone remember Rikki-Tikki-Tavi?), watch the meerkats play (they were one of my favourites, they make me think of Swift from Planet Earth Live) and see my friend do some of her education talks about some of the animals on her last day!! And another added bonus was it stayed ry all day!
