March Favourites

So I might have been bad at blogging in general so far this year but I have managed to share my favourites with you every month for the first quarter of the year and I'm proud of myself for that. I love collecting a list each month of things to share with you all, let's see if I can keep it up for the rest of the year! So here are my faves from the month of March.

I have loved Lush products for as long as I can remember and nothing beats a bubble bath with one of their bubble bars. I have tried a few of their face masks over the years but Santa put a different one in my stocking this year and I couldn't wait to try it out. It's the first time I have used one of the jelly face masks and they are so fun! The consistency of this mask starts off like jello and then as you rub it into your fingers it becomes incredibly smooth. I love the feel of this on my face and I'll definitely be repurchasing. An added bonus to this mask is it has a longer shelf life than some of the other face masks Lush does and you don't need to keep it chilled.

I feel like I don't need to explain why these are a favourite, do I?! I mean if you haven't tried a Cadbury's Mini Egg in your life, where have you been? I like a lot of sweet treats and especially the ones that appear around Easter time, if you made me pick only one Easter Treat it would be these. I can easily demolish a whole bag in one go, whoops! The diet will start after Easter haha!

I told you that I would be sharing another favourite from First Aid Beauty on the blog soon. I have been using this primer for a little while now and I already have a feeling it's something I am going to keep repurchasing over and over. I love just wearing this on its own with no make up. It gives my skin a very subtle glow and I don't even really know how to describe the feeling but my skin feels so healthy. Oh and it smells pretty amazing too!

If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen me post daily outfits featuring these thermals over and over (one made an appearance on the blog here). They are one of the cosiest pieces I have ever owned and I normally reach for one of these to throw on after work as soon as I get home. They are a closet must have in my opinion. Sizing can vary by colour I have found, I have XS, Small and Medium, it really depends on how you want them to fit. I found the beige colour to run the smallest and the lilac one to run bigger. I would stick with your regular size if you want a slightly oversized fit.

We are big fans of DW Candles in this house, I love that they come in so many different fragrances. I have had scents for every season since I moved into my house and a very sweet little girl  stocked me up ready for Spring. These candles look so pretty sat around the house and I can tell you every DW Candle we have burnt so far has filled the house with a strong fragrance (I actually find these smaller ones better than the bigger size). It'll be no surprise that out of these three the peony one is my fave ;) If you are in the UK you can always find a variety of these candles in T.K Maxx and Homesense.

I LOVE ice cream,  we are going to Italy soon and I am going to be in heaven. I had heard of Halo Top but had never seen it. So whilst I was browsing the ice cream aisle last month I was super excited to spy this brand. Now it's not the cheapest ice cream but it's a lot healthier (well I'm telling myself that) for you than others, so I feel like this is my not so naughty sweet treat. I picked up the cinnamon roll favour well because I love cinnamon rolls too, so I figured this ice cream would be a winner. The results are in and I think you're always going to find a tub of this in our freezer. It's on offer in Tesco at the moment and they got some more flavours in, I picked up the mint chip because it's one of my all time favourite ice cream flavours. Can you tell I have a lot of favourite things?!

I'd love to know what you have been loving so far this Spring, leave your favourites in the comments below :)

Floral Easter Dresses

I cannot believe it will be Easter this weekend already, where has the first 3 month of 2018 gone?!
I always love to reach for a pretty floral dress or pastel colours for my Easter outfit and as I've been on a shopping ban for Lent this year I've planned to wear this ASOS dress I already had in my closet. Although the are saying we might get a white Easter this year, so I might have to rethink my outfit choice!
If you haven't already got an outfit picked out for this weekend I have linked a whole bunch of cute Spring options below, all from places that off affordable next day delivery so you can get it in time for the weekend! Happy Shopping.

Comfy Jeans

Hello Everyone! It's been a little while since I stopped by here again, I had started to write a post on my trip to Athens and never finished it, whoops. It's on the way I promise. I also finally got to shoot some new pictures for the blog this past weekend so I have a few posts on the way over the next few weeks including a look at my closet which you can see a little sneak peek of here. The cold snap is still going strong, so I've been staying warm by wrapping up in cozy cardigans like this old H&M one.
Also I have to tell you about these Old Navy 24/7 Rockstar Jeans, they are the comfiest pair of jeans I have ever owned, you totally forget that you are wearing jeans. They have so much stretch to them, you can easily eat a big meal in these and not feel them pinching afterwards. They are thinner than some of my jeans but that also makes them perfect for warmer months, I'm thinking of picking them up in a lighter wash for summer.

*This isn't a sponsored post, I just really love these jeans*

February Faves

Happy Tuesday! I am back with my February favourites for you all, and I'm even managing to get them up just before the end of the month, I am impressed with myself haha!
Now Bella isn't featured as a favourite in this post, she's not a monthly fave, she's a forever favourite but I decided to put a picture of her in this post anyway because 1. I love her and 2. she seems to love the first item in this month's favourites post too!

I had been waiting for this coat to go on sale after I had seen it on Haley from Sequins & Things during her European Winter travels and she had told me it was surprisingly warm. When it finally went on sale I ordered it straight away, and I got an extra £5 off because I took a bag of old clothes into H&M.
Haley was right, this coat is so so warm, and it has been perfect this month as it keeps getting colder and colder. The first reason I fell in love was because it was the perfect shade of pink for a coat and the second was the faux fur lined hood, it's super soft! I got my normal size (a UK8 / US4) and I can fit some thick layers under it, I tried on the size smaller too and could have gone for that if I hadn't wanted to layer so much underneath.

I have been using this cuticle cream for quite a few years now, but when I moved I had left my tin at home and only remembered to pick it up at Christmas. My cuticles had been super dry this winter and I noticed a huge difference when I started using this again, I have had very few hangnails to pick at since (a really bad habit of mine)! This cream also smells so yummy, it's super lemony.

Personalised CaseApp iPhone Case {save 20% with the code 'FIVEMINUTE20'}

Last year I got to team up with CaseApp and design my own phone cases and I have been waiting for Spring to arrive so I could switch out my winter one. Let's just say I only held out until the end of January before I switched to this one, I was hoping it might encourage the warmer weather, but no such luck yet. I designed it so it would pair perfectly with the dress I made myself, which I can't wait to start wearing again once summer is here.

I think it was a few years ago now when I started using First Aid Beauty products and they are one of the few things that I keep repurchasing! I had been using a big tub of this Ultra Repair Cream until it ran out and luckily I found this smaller tube in my stash of goodies I had been saving for travel. This one is nearly gone too now so I will have to get another tub soon. I love quite a few products from the First Aid Beauty Line and there are still some I would love to try out. One of the newer products I started using last year might make an appearance in a faves post in the near future.

Wicklein Do It Yourself Lebkuchen

This is a bit of a random one, but I love food, especially sweet treats so it makes sense they'll pop up in my favourites from time to time. Gingerbread has been a longtime favourite of mine and I especially like all the German gingerbread goodies that appear around Christmas. I found this kit on clearance in T.K Maxx and I am very glad that I picked up two of them. I made the first one the other weekend, after spending ages translating the instructions as they were only in German and finding out I had to leave the mixture to sit for 3 hours, I finally got to try one and they were 100% worth the wait! If you love ginger and hazelnuts you will love these.

So my last favourite from February is this eos lip balm. I am a sucker for pretty packaging so I have always loved the sphere shape of these lip balms. I had a lemon one a long time ago that I was sent from the States and have wanted to get another one for my handbag since, the only problem is that they are pretty expensive here in the UK for what they are and I don't have the money to drop that many pounds on a lip balm. So you can imagine I jumped for joy when I found some in T.K Maxx. They had mint and this coconut milk one, and since I loved coconut and pink is my favourite colour, I went for this one. I love this even more than the lemon one I had. It has kept my lips super moisturised through the winter months. I would have been sad when this ran out as I haven't seen then in T.K Maxx since but luckily Santa did and left me another in my Christmas stocking. Thanks Santa!

I hope you are liking these favourite posts and I'd love to know what are you are loving this month too, so leave your current favourite products in the comments below.
