Almost The Weekend...

I don't know about you but I am so ready for the weekend to be here, can you believe we are heading into the final part of 2016?! I am looking forward to curling up in some comfy clothes like this super soft sweatshirt from SheIn and working on my latest knitting project this weekend.

I love picking up pieces from SheIn, they are always super affordable and arrive pretty quickly too. They have everything you could need for any occasion, from cozy knits for rainy weekends at home to a fabulous floral dress for a wedding, and they have a huge range of blanket scarves which you know I love! You can shop all of my favourite SheIn finds below.

You might have a noticed a little guest in this blog post...we have no idea who she belongs to but our neighbour has named her Cookie and she likes to stop by for some dinner and treats every now and again. This time she wanted to be in front of the camera too!

Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Cookies

I was craving a sweet treat at the weekend but wanted something that had an autumnal feel about it!
I found a bag of chocolate chip cookie mix that only took matter of seconds to make up and less than 15 minutes to bake lying around so I just decided to sprinkle in some of the homemade pumpkin spice I had on the spice rack!

I would normally bake my cookies from scratch but decided this was a quick fix for my sweet tooth and I make sure to always have some Pumpkin Spice mixed up at this time of year to add to everything from pies to crumbles or even for sprinkling on top of a latte! You can sprinkle this spice mix into your favourite cookie or cake recipe for a little Fall sweet treat.

Pumpkin Spice is super easy to make, just mix up the following combination of spices and store in an airtight jar!

3 tablespoons ground cinnamon,
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice
1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves

Looking at all these pictures has been craving some more of these cookies right now, I might just have to bake another batch when I get home from work tonight!

Autumnal Woodland Walks

Zara Scarf  (Identical Version) // Phillip Lim x Target Bag // OPI 'Meet Me On The Star Ferry' Polish

I love bundling up at this time of year in a cozy chunky knit sweater, a big blanker scarf and a pair of over the knee boots and heading out for a walk in the crisp autumn air! I found the the perfect woodland setting to take my Christmas card pictures whilst exploring the other weekend (more on that soon) and I picked up some more pine cones to fill some glass vases I have as part of my autumn decor!

Apple Picking Plaid

This is my traditional Apple Picking uniform, a plaid shirt, long boots, and a cross body bag! I normally add a vest for some extra warmth but this year the weather was still pretty nice when we went to the orchard for the first time, so I left mine in the car! This is Part One of 2016's Apple Picking Adventures as I have some more pictures to share with you all soon, these are just the outfit ones!
