Destination Norwich

During winter when the evenings are dark and the weather outside is miserable nothing beats getting the family together and playing a good old board game.
When Destination Games asked if I'd liked to review the Norwich version of the game I jumped at the chance, it's always fun to play a new board game, especially one that is based around a place I know.

During the game you are a taxi driver and you have to travel around the city collecting fares and make it back to the taxi rank, with the most money in order to win. However you will come across obstacles during your journeys such as running out of fuel or getting points on your licence for speeding.

The game is suitable for ages 6+ and you can play with between 2 and 6 players. It's not the quickest game in the world so make sure you have some time to spare, it might take you an hour or two. The more players you have the quicker the game will go. Make sure to read the instructions through first because it can get a little confusing until you are use to all the rules and cards.

I loved that there are lots of recognisable places on the board like Jarrod's, Norwich Cathedral, and the Puppet Theatre. This game would make a perfect gift for anyone who knows Norwich well or would like to get to know Norwich!

You can purchase Destination Norwich from Jarrold's in store or online here for £24.99 or on the Destination Games website which also stocks a whole host of other cities too.

Disclaimer: I received this game free of charge, however all opinions expressed in this post are my own.
