DIY: Vintage Teacup Candle

Do you have a girlfriend who loves all things vintage, or an Aunt who loves candles? This super easy DIY is the perfect homemade gift to give for any occasion. Once they have burned the candle they will have a sweet little teacup to keep too, so pick one that suits their personality. I made this one for my sister who loves roses so this cup and saucer were perfect for making a honey, vanilla and rose candle!

You will need:
- vintage teacup
- wick and clip
- wax (I used local beeswax, it smells amazing)
-essential oil (optional)

Fix wick to the bottom of the teacup.

Gently heat the wax over a pan of hot water to melt it.

If you want to add some essential oils now is the time.

Hold your wick straight when pouring in the wax (this will make are your candle burns evenly) and leave the candle to completely set before trimming the wick down.

And there you have it, your pretty vintage teacup candle is ready to burn! If you are giving it to a friend as a gift they look super sweet tied up with some lace ribbon!
