I feel like I say this every month but I cannot believe it is June tomorrow. June is one of my favourite month's of the year, partly because it's my birthday month! I just hope the sun decides to start sticking around for longer than 2 days at a time!

The Best of Paris

These are just some of the hundreds of photos I snapped whilst we were away and I'm sure there are plenty of places i've forgotten to include. There was so much to see and do in Paris and we found walking was one of the best ways to see it all and there are so many beautiful gardens (jardins) to stop and take an ice cream break in! Luckily one of our friends lived in Paris for a little while and she gave us a bunch of recommendations so we were never sort of something to do! The Eiffel Tower- If you haven't climbed it, do it. The best view of the Eiffel Tower is from Trocadéro.

Confetti Painting

Over the Bank Holiday weekend I decided to try my hand at some art! I had a canvas laying around (I randomly purchased it when I couldn't find polystyrene Easter eggs to paint) and decided that even I could manage to somehow to put brush to canvas without it looking a complete mess. I was never any good at art in school and if you ask me to paint/draw something in front of me it's going to look like a blob no matter what it is no matter how hard I try. However I am really pleased with how this turned out and I surprised myself by enjoying painting and the perfectionist in me seemed to disappear as I just randomly painted my confetti dots away.

Last Night in Paris

Every trip has to come to an end so we decided to make sure our last night in Paris was a good one! We had dinner on the Champs-Élysées and then watched the Eiffel Tower light up whilst eating some delicious crepes. Even a little bit of rain couldn't ruin the evening. The dress I am obsessed with, as soon as I saw this Anthropologie dress last year I knew I had to have it and it was on sale, it was also the first thing I packed in my suitcase for Paris.  

I also wanted to say huge thank you to Susie for being my photographer  and taking my outfit pictures whilst we were in Paris.

Jeans + A White Tee + Some Pink

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend! This is the simplest outfit ever, jeans and a white tee, but it is my favourite combination because there are so many ways to dress it up/down with accessories! I added my current favourite colours gold, pink and grey. Oh and can I mention how in love I am with this vintage jacket I got from Vintage Mischief, they have so many gems to hunt through and as soon as I saw this I knew it had to be mine! It instantly made me think of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.
