Christmas In The City

Just like last year, I planned a weekend to go and visit my sister in London and check out all the Christmas decorations around and do some shopping! My weekend didn't get off to a great start, I missed my train because I was sick and spent the rest of the weekend feeling like death warmed up! I tried to make the most of the weekend and did get to enjoy some of it!

When I arrived we had a flying visit to Oxford Street to pick up a few things and check out the window displays at Selfridges!

I love polar bears and this window was my favourite, even if it was mainly aimed at the kids!

On Saturday after a rocky start to my morning I made it to the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park in time to see the circus!

I then met up with two of my best friends from high school, we checked out all the Christmas gifts and other goods on offer (yes I did make a few purchases). Everyone else got some delicious churros, I so wish I had felt like eating, I did steal a bite!

My sister headed off to Covent Garden to pick up some Christmas gifts and snapped these pictures for me while I had a rest with Ben and Charlotte in the M&S cafe!

I was saving my energy for checking out Harrods and hunting down a gingerbread man( I was successful!!!)

The food hall is my favourite place, this gingerbread house was insane!

I couldn't afford that, but I did bring some cupcakes home!

Hopefully next December I'll get to visit my sister again and I'll feel well enough to enjoy the weekend!
