Stacey's Smiles :)

It seems we're waving goodbye to September with a heat wave! Just when I've accepted summer (or what we had of it here) is over and I was all excited to pull out my warm sweaters, mother nature has graced us with some gorgeous warm weather! I hope it says for this weekend so I can enjoy a bit of it! September has been a fun filled month for me but October is back to reality, I need to make some exciting plans!

Obviously when I went shopping last weekend with Susie we got slightly distracted from the task at hand! These hats are an essential for moving to Japan right??? I kinda wanna go back and get one!

I love companies that give back and produce products where they donate to a charity! October is just around the corner which means it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I already made my first purchase to help the cause! I'll be doing a post tomorrow of items you can purchase to help support Breast Cancer Awareness!

Chan Luu Think Pink, Live Green Bracelet $20

Yesterday over at 'A Cup Of Jo' the Thursday giveaway was a gorgeous Victorian ring from Erstwhile. Well when I went and checked out their site I few in love with so many things, especially these engagement rings! How stunning would one of these look on my finger?? As I'm single I think I'm going to be waiting a long time for one of these at the moment! A girl can dream though.....

I hope everyone had a Happy September!!!

Outfit Of The Day: Paparazzi Lunch

These are a few quick pictures form the day after Annie's 21st. My parents came down to meet us and we all went out for a family lunch! My dad had just gotten a new phone so he was playing about taking some pictures outside paparazzi style, hence the awkward expressions!

The River Of Ducks

The weekend of the Duck Race, I went out all dressed up to cheer on my duck in matching colors! I decorated mine in memory of my Grandad this year and used one of the poppies that came in the flowers at his funeral. My sister's boyfriend also had a duck this year to join in with the rest of ours for a swim down the river!

Chilling out before the madness begins

Preparing for the big race!

On display as they get their race heads in gear!

Enjoying some quackers cupcakes

Ready, set, SWIM

Hmmm floating on the side was never going to win the race

and well the corporate ducks seemed to have no idea how to swim!

Another fun duck race, although no wins for us this year! I also didn't spot my duck in the river this time, but I'm sure he was up in the front somewhere! These little yellow friends now join our ever growing collection of past race contestants!

Outfit Of The Day: Pink Girl

I first wore this top here, and the I quickly grabbed it to throw on again on Sunday morning, the main reason being it matched my pink nails! I pulled it off the shoulder this time for a slightly different look, the sun has decided to show itself a few more times before the snow shows up (they've been saying it'll be snowing here next month) so I'm pulling out a few more summery pastel colors before the falls color palette appears.

Glittered Up Nails

Last week at work I noticed we sold little pots of glitter and I was inspired by Emily over at Cupcakes & Cashmere by her 'Mermaid Nails' post here. I used two coats in Essie's French Affair, although I've run out of base coat and I need to pick up another bottle as it didn't cover my rough nails too well this time. I used some pink glitter to add sparkle my ring fingers on Friday night and I've got to say I loved the results! I need to pick up some more pots of glitter to match with my other polishes!

Stacey's Smiles :)

I think it's fair to say that fall has arrived! There are gorgeous golden leaves on the paths as I walk to work in the morning and that crisp chill in the air! I love summer days, mainly because we don't get enough of them in the UK, and while it's sad to see summer go it's nice to welcome fall and warm sweaters!

I may have a guilty secret of watching E! News whenever I get the chance and this week I love the outfits that Giuliana has been wearing which total less than $100. I'll be looking out for some of The H&M pieces this weekend!

I'm also going to be picking up this sweater from H&M after eyeing it for weeks and not biting the bullet! Plus until the end of September when you check into a H&M with facebook you got 20% off your whole purchase!

Although the main reason for a shopping trip this weekend is to find Susie a whole new wardrobe for when she moves to Japan soon! Susie reckons it's gonna be a stressful shopping trip, but I love the challenge!

I've also been making more bracelets this week, I've been going a little bit crazy but I love making these things!

Hows everyone else enjoying the last September weekend??

Outfit Of The Day: Big Cats & Birthday Balloons

Last Saturday was my sister's 21st Birthday, which of course calls for a pretty dress & heels! I gave up on my heels within the first 30 minutes of arriving in London, slippery platforms and me in heels is a dangerous combination! Luckily I had a pair of flats in my bag to chnage into for the most of the day until the heels where called for! I may have also picked up this necklace when I went to get my sister cupcakes from Lola's in Topshop because it looked cute with my dress.

I adore cats and this plant pot had an 'S'on it which was obviously for Stacey and not The Savoy.

All Ashore That's Going Ashore

Unfortunately that would be me who is going ashore!

I wish I was setting sale on the ms Prinsendam. I was lucky enough to spend the day aboard the ship last week when it docked in Tilbury! I got to catch up with one of my best friends Lucy which was the best part of the day, but we got a tour of the ship and the salon where she works as a hairdresser! The food was delicious that we got to enjoy for lunch. We even got to sneak a peak in a standard room and one of the suites before the guests started to board! I'd never been on a cruise ship before so I was amazed how big it was (even though it's the smallest ship Lucy has worked on). When Lucy had to go to work we went and had some more fun exploring up on deck, where the wind was so strong we nearly had to yell man overboard! A cruise is not in my budget right now, but I can always pretend!

Stacey's Smiles :)

It's my little sister's 21st Birthday tomorrow! It makes me feel so old, I don't think I've really counted my birthday since turned 19! She's already back at university starting her second year, and I don't know where the time has gone! I'm catching the train down to London in the morning to spend the weekend with her!

The first thing we'll be doing (after I go and pick up some cupcakes for her) is head over the the Savoy Theatre to go and see Legally Blonde!

I also got to catch up with one of my best friends when the cruise ship she's working on docked in the UK this week. I haven't seen her since March and I won't see her again until the end of November, so the few hours we were there were amazing!

Unless you've been hiding under a stone you must have seen/heard/been part of the craziness surround the Missoni for Target collection this week. Part of me is glad I don't live in the US because that is my excuse for not getting hold of any of the collection. Had I been living there I probably would have been queuing up in the early hours to get hold of some of the pieces and then been disappointed if I hadn't found anything! Maybe when all the hype dies down and Ebay sellers can't get so much I might try searching for a few pieces I love.

Did anyone get anything from the collection?? I'd love to see pictures!
