When In Rome.........Part One

I haven't posted about my holiday yet because I wanted to drag out the memory of it, so while it seems like a far off memory I can relive it through all the pictures I took and share it with all my readers too! We fitted so much into our week in Rome and must have walked miles! We did use the metro a few times but mainly chose to walk because there was so much to see around every corner and I was so busy taking in everything it barley seemed liked we had walked any distance!

These pictures are from the first two days when we did plenty of sight seeing! We pretended to be gladiators at the Colosseum, explored the Palentine and Roman Forum, made wishes in the Trevi Fountain, climbed the Spanish Steps, had Ice Cream by the Pantheon and came across a cat sanctuary in some old ruins ( I wanted to bring them all home for me) as well as viewing so many other beautiful fountains, buildings and land marks! We have hundreds of pictures between us and I wish i could post them all here but I wouldn't leave my computer for about a week!
