Happy Friday again!! Next week it'll be September eekkk! I am dying for a pumpkin spice latte though!  I successfully completed my first project on the new sewing machine, another pillow, I decided not to be too adventurous, but I completed this one all on my own and have some fabrics piled up for some more challenging projects!

This dress was under £10 can you believe it?! I am loving Sheinside right now (did you see this post?), especially when I need something for an event and I have nothing in my wardrobe that fits the dress code! I attended an event over the weekend that required something bright, light and fun and this dress fitted the bill perfectly! I had so much fun dancing the evening away. It's been a rather bright week for me on the blog, I wouldn't normally wear such colourful pieces, but I've been inspired to add more neon to my closet!

Getting Cozy with Jo Malone

I love burning candles all year round, but as the nights get darker there is nothing I love more than curling up under my favourite blanket and lighting a few candles. I treated myself to this Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede candle for my birthday, and the fragrance is divine, my entire room is filled with the sweetest scent! As soon as Autumn is here you will find pumpkin candles around my home and I recently discovered Flamingo Candles (how cute is the packaging?) which will be next candle I purchase when I feel like I deserve a little treat!

So I know that I am excited for Autumn to arrive but it's still August and I want the weather to brighten up for the rest of the month, all this gloomy, rainy weather is not how I wanted to end summer!
