The Pumpkin Patch

I have always wanted to go to a Pumpkin Patch, I love seeing people's picture of a sea of pumpkins. Pumpkin Patches aren't very common in this part of the UK and while there are farm shops and farmers markets where you can pick up local ones, it's not often you can go and pick your own.
So I was thrilled when Sean suggested we head to one that was an hour and half drive away the other Sunday.
I don't think I have ever seen so many pumpkins in my life, I didn't know which ones to pick. We came home with a mixed selection in the end and they are displayed on our fireplace.
The boy also had to take my outfits pictures for the first time ever, how do you think he did?!

Pumpkin Patch Love.

Boy am I glad it is Friday and I can spend the weekend at home. Our little Bella Boo got spayed earlier this week and she did so great at the vets but yesterday she got sick and had to go back for blood tests. We are so thankful that they came back clear but Bella is still not herself so we are keeping an extra close eye on her while she heals and hopefully she'll be back to her bright little self soon. Please keep her in your thoughts. Happy Weekend Everyone.

Autumn To Do List 2017

This year has been flying by so fast with everything that has been happening that I wanted to make a little to do list for the autumn and make sure I check it all off. This summer I didn't get to do half of the things I had planned as we were so busy with the house, so now that I have a little more free time I wanted to make the most of it. So here is my list to check off this Fall and I've already made a start on it!

1. Go apple picking at the local orchard.

2. Grab a pumpkin spice latte.

3. Add some autumn decor around the house.

4. Visit a pumpkin patch.

6. Go for a walk in the woods on a perfect crisp autumn day.

7. Send someone a little Halloween surprise.

8. Pick up some sunflowers.

What are some of your favourite things to do in the Fall?

Apple Orchard

LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Sweater // J Crew Scarf // LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's Jeans //

Apple picking season is one of my favourite times of the year and I have especially being looking forward to it this year. Firstly because I found this amazing vintage basket when we were hunting for pieces for the house and it was labelled as an apple basket (and it was only £8) and secondly because I have been dying to wear this sweater since I picked it up on sale last year. I always find the cutest pieces from Lauren Conrad's LC Line for Kohl's (no this post isn't sponsored haha) and I have loved some of the Disney collaborations, this sweater was from the Snow White collection.
We are nearly out of all the apples we picked now, I baked a whole batch of crumbles at the weekend along with one of my favourite apple pies (recipe here), the orchard apples always taste far more delicious than the supermarket ones. I'm already counting down the days until next year's visit!

I wanted to take all the baby pumpkins home!

It's the time of the week to smile again. I love that autumn is now in full swing and there are pumpkins everywhere, even Bella has been enjoying having them around the house.
This weekend I am checking off baking my favourite apple pie on my Fall To Do List.
Happy Weekend Everyone!

Maize Maze

Gap Jacket // Chapters Indigo Scarf // Similar Bag

Last month we headed to one of the local Maize Mazes for my Mum's birthday and had the best time getting lost and then racing some pedal go karts around the maize too! This was the first Fall outfit I wore this year and as it was still pretty warm I opted for a lightweight sweater instead of reaching for one of my chunky sweaters. I've been having fun switching out all the summer stuff in my closet for  my autumn pieces, I love Fall colours.
