A Picnic In Hyde Park

One of my favourite things to do in summer is picnic with friends! This past weekend I got to spend time with all my best friends in Hyde Park to celebrate a birthday, we had fabulous weather and the 2 cars, 6 trains, 2 buses and 2 tubes I went on that day where more than worth it to spend time with the people I love the most!

Outfit Of The Day: Tropical Garden

The sun was out all weekend and I made the most of it! Everywhere looks so different when the sun is out! I felt like I was miles away somewhere tropical when I sat out in the garden at my Mum's work place!

It seems that summer is finally starting to arrive! The sun has graced us with its presence and tomorrow I'm heading to Hyde Park for a picnic to celebrate a friend's birthday!

I found this amazing vintage dress at Vintage Mischief, a new store that just open near to where I live.

My summer lemonade obsession is continuing with this Copella Apple Lemonade, I love the pink version too and they are even produced here in Suffolk! 

I made some more mini woven chain bracelets.

Nail Color: Freebie Nails inc Bluebell

I love getting useful freebies with magazines! The June UK InStyle(£3.80) is offering a free Nails inc polish worth £11 and there is 3 shades to choose from, Bluebell, Power Pink or Peach Sorbet! I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to go for but ended up with Bluebell as it's different to every other nail polish I own!

It is now my favourite polish I own right now! I love the cornflower blue shade, it is gonna be summer staple for my nails! I added some OPI Crown Me Already to the tips for a bit of sparkle and next time I think I'm going to try adding white polka dots!

Outfit Of The Day: Orange Stripes

Adding another piece from the orange spectrum into my wardrobe and combining it with stripes, it makes for a perfect tee! This time lat year I was waking up in Rome so I carried the bag I found at the market with me over the weekend to remind me of the good times!

Shoemint Bridget Vs H&M Summer Sandals

I have been looking for some new sandals for the summer recently, my toes are dying for the rain to stop so they can get some fresh air! I love the Bridget from Shoemint but at $79.98 for a pair I'm not too sure I want to splash out on them! I love both colours but the blush pair would match with more in my wardrobe.

Step forward H&M with a more purse friendly version! Although they are a snake print instead of leopard, and more of a tan than a blush, these sandals are a great alternative to the Shoemint Bridget and you can get both pairs for less than half the price of one pair of Bridget's! So that's two pairs of sandals and some money left over to spend on some other summer goodies to add to your wardrobe!

The sandals I had packed to go with this outfit had to stay in my bag since the rain decided it wasn't going to give us much of a break but I was determined to still wear my skirt to visit Windsor Castle!

My eyes lit up with excitement when I dived into a Boots store to shelter from the rain this weekend and I spotted a whole stand of Essie polishes! Apparently I had missed the fact that as of April 30th Essie is now available in larger Boots & Superdrug stores! I normally have to order Essie polishes online so this is going to make my addiction easier to fuel! I was given about 30 seconds to choose a colour when my sister appeared behind me and told me to hurry up! I grabbed Chinchilly which I have been wanted to try and the best bit was I used my Boots advantage points so I didn't have to pay!

I know my local Boots doesn't stock Essie but i'll be checking Superdrug this week especially as they have 3 for 2 offer going on!

Outfit Of The Day: Blue & Green Stripes

I just got back from spending a couple of days with my sister!  I wore  my Stylemint tee for the first day  (I wore the pink version here). We lunched in Uxbridge and then headed off to Ascot for tea and cakes and then ended the day in Windsor! It was so lovely to have the sun out all day, I wish I'd worn a skirt instead!

Lea Michele/Rachel Berry in H&M On Glee

Did anyone catch this weeks episode of Glee? I was excited to see Lea Michele's character Rachel Berry wearing this super cute H&M polka dot blouse! I have the same one in navy (seen here). It's sold out online but I've seen it in stores recently! I love my navy one so much I may just have to pick up the cream version too!
