Designer Love: BB's Dharma

I have serious cravings to buy new pieces of jewelry all the time and I love discovering designers I don't own any pieces from! I purchased my first piece of BB's Dharma jewelry though Planet Blue and it was these gorgeous feather earrings that every comments on!

I saw some more pieces I loved at Planet Blue and contacted the lovely Mary Beth from BB's Dharma about purchasing some of her unique chains! The clasps are the cutest clasps I've ever seen!

Everyone loves these and I might just have to order some more in the near future! Mary Beth was an absolute star to work with and was so helpful!

Check out BB's Dharma on Facebook here and on their website here and Planet Blue have some of the range on their site here too

Feeling PINK!!!

So October is here and that means it's officially Breast Cancer Awareness month! Back in High School we always use to have Pink Days to raise money and awareness! This month alone thousands of women will receive the devastating news that they have Breast Cancer so I hope you will all do your part to help, even if it's just buying one of the hundreds of products on the high street that donate money to a Breast Cancer charity when you buy one of their Pink branded products! I've already eaten one of the yummy Cadbury's Pink Flakes from Asda!

and I wanna go pick up a Pink Bottle of Palmer's Coco Butter too!

And here's two outfits I've worn this month with pink in! You can't see in the picture but my hoodie has a bright pink lining in the hood!

Pink Classic Uggs, True Religion Joey Jeans, Superdry Hoodie, JJ Winters Hornback Bag
I also picked up this super cute ring on sale for £3 which matched perfectly with my snood!

Winter Warmers

So I think it's now safe to say that summer is over and fall is upon us! I don't mind the colder weather, it means lots of warm sweaters, scarves and boots! I just wish it wouldn't rain so much! I actually started shopping for fall back in August! I couldn't resist this poncho when i walked into H&M, even though the sun was shining outside and i still had my flip flops on! I've since seen this poncho on some of my favourite blogs & apparently it was also featured on the Rachel Zoe Project, it was an absolute steal at £14.99 too. I haven't worn it in a proper outfit yet but I've thrown it over what I've been wearing a few times and it's perfect to snuggle up in on a car ride home!

H&M Poncho
Not wanting to leave summer behind too quickly I did refrain from buying some of the other cute items I saw in H&M but then they launched their online store and after browsing on there I had to go back and grab a couple more items I had my eye on! The jacket was the last one left in the store when I went back and it's a size bigger than i would have liked but it means i can layer up underneath it, and when i checked out it went through the till at £10 for some reason, I think it was meant to be mine!

I can't wait to do some more shopping for fall and winter!

Going Quackers

Another belated blog post from the beginning of September! Eeek and now it's October!

Every year in September the town I live in has a Duck Race! The river is filled with hundreds of little yellow ducks as they swim for the finish line! I've had a duck every year since it began 7 years ago but my little duck has never won yet :( Although for the past few years they've had so many ducks they've done heats and then a final and every year my duck has made it to the final!

Now a lot of people don't decorate their ducks but I have done every year except one! This year I painted mine blue and covered him in silver stars! My sister decorated hers with paw prints and then every year my mum does one for a different charity, this year it was Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Mine was actually winning the final for a little while until it decided to go the wrong way! I think I need to pick a  duck with a better sense of direction next year!

Can you spot my duck??

The Final Race

Time to start thinking of idea's for my duck next year!
